Головною метою професійної підготовки є формування особистості, підготовленої до самостійного життя та перетворювальної діяльності в умовах сучасного високотехнологічного, інформаційного суспільства, з метою реалізації творчого потенціалу учнів з інтелектуальними порушеннями.
The article examines the features of the correctional orientation of vocational and labor education of students with intellectual disabilities.
Characterizing the correctional orientation of the content of vocational and labor education of students with intellectual disabilities, it is worth noting that in combination with an understanding of the essence of correctional and developmental work as a subsystem of raising children with intellectual disabilities, correction as a pedagogical process is provided by all its components: content, method, organization. Therefore, vocational and labor education, the content, methods and organization of which are aimed at correcting developmental defects and improving the general development of the child, is correctionally oriented. The purpose of this specially constructed educational process is determined by the theme of correctional and developmental influence, that is, what the child must correct, weaken, overcome and generally develop. From this, the indicators of the effectiveness of correctional and developmental influences are also determined. Therefore, the subject of influence is a system-forming element in the process of teaching correctional orientation.
The main goal of professional training is to form a personality prepared for independent life and transformative activity in the conditions of a modern high-tech, information society, in order to realize the creative potential of students with intellectual disabilities.
