У статті окрему увагу приділено розвитку ідей про самовдосконалення особистості. Для досягнення поставленої мети з’ясовано змістове наповнення понятійного апарату дослідження. Розглядаються питання, пов’язані з професійним самовдосконаленням педагога. Аналізуються різні підходи до визначення терміну «професійне самовдосконалення».
In this paper special attention is paid to the development of ideas about self-improvement of personality. The paper analyzes the professional activity of the teacher of physical education. The emphasis is on the development and the realization of personal potential future specialist, including a professional. For achievement of purpose found out semantic filling conceptual apparatus of investigation. The issues related to professional self-improvement of teacher are examined. Different approaches to the definition of "professional self-improvement" are analyzed. The components, features, types and levels of professional self-improvement are studied. As a result of the research we formulated a definition of professional self-improvement of teacher of physical education as an independent process of improvement professionally important components of activity oriented in the direction of "I am – perfect professional". Attention is focused on differentiating content concepts of "self-development", "self-improvement", "self-education". The most important parameters and elements of the main components of professional self-improvement of teacher of physical education are outlined. The process of a professional self-improvement of future specialists is characterized. The features of self-improvement practices, basic strategies and models of self-improvement are analyzed. In addition, we show the importance of self-improvement as one of the most important factors of social development.
