The article considers the personal component, which is leading in the structure of musical and instrumental competence of future teacher of music. Among a number of competencies that should have a future teacher of music, exactly musical and instrumental competence is the most important, because instrumental activity is a type of professional music teacher's work of art, which is characterized by multidimensionality, by the nature of the uniqueness and the result, originality, and socio and historical and individual uniqueness.
On the structure of musical and instrumental competence, we carried personal, cognitive and activity and reflexive creative components. Degree of formation of these components will allow future teacher effectively realize musical and instrumental competence. Personal component of the musical and instrumental competence presupposes presence of motivational and value relationship to professional work, creativity and reflection, is a component that includes musical abilities,
emotional and volitional qualities, reflects the psychological, practical preparedness, as well as the ability to implementation of musical and instrumental activity. In the overall structure of teacher's personality and musical art teaching musical skills are necessary and essential components for the implementation of musical and educational activities in the classroom music. The success of musical and instrumental activity of students depends largely on the level of emotional response to the work that is performed, and that performing activities
contribute to the intensification of such mental processes and personality traits like emotions, and will. Maturity of motivation among students for future professional activity provides a conscientious
attitude to executive training, directs students to master the necessary skills and abilities playing musical instruments, as well as independent work on musical composition.
