Стаття присвячена проблемі використання такого інноваційного методу навчання, як технології веб-квест у процесі навчання іноземної мови. Стаття торкається питання застосування сучасних технологій при навчанні іноземної мови, їх основні характеристики та напрямки. Автори пояснюють необхідність використання нових підходів на заняттях з іноземної мови, щоб сучасний студент був готовий і здатний адаптуватися до соціальних та професійних змін, необхідний розвиток його умінь критичного аналізу інформації будь-яких символічних систем (образних, звукових, текстових). У статті описуються переваги інтегрування сучасних інтернет-технологій у освітній процес. З’ясовано, що у зв’язку з цією перевагою перед педагогами ставляться нові завдання: підготувати нове покоління до сприйняття різної інформації, навчити розуміти її, опановувати способи спілкування на основі невербальних форм комунікації за допомогою технічних засобів. У цих умовах особливої популярності набувають сучасні інформаційно-комунікаційні технології, які є сукупність сучасної комп’ютерної техніки, засобів телекомунікаційного зв’язку, інструментальних програмних засобів, які забезпечують інтерактивне програмно-методичне супроводження сучасних технологій навчання. У статті визначається поняття «веб-квест», наведено типологію веб-квестів, а також розглянуто можливості розвитку даної інноваційної технології в освітньому процесі при навчанні іноземної мови. У статті висвітлено переваги застосування веб-квестів перед традиційними методами навчання іноземної мови, описуються особливості організації роботи із застосуванням технологій веб-квесту для викладача та вимоги, що висуваються при цьому до рівня мовної підготовки студентів. Наголошується на ролі технології веб-квесту в дистанційному управлінні навчальним процесом. У статті представлено структуру навчального веб-квесту, відображено зміст ресурсів, необхідних для виконання завдань, а також показано завдання викладача на всіх етапах виконання роботи учнями. З’ясовано, що одними з важливих переваг веб-квесту є розвиток навичок роботи в колективі, відповідальності, самостійності при прийнятті певних рішень.
The article is devoted to the problem of using such an innovative teaching method as web quest technology in the process of teaching a foreign language. The article touches on the use of modern technologies in teaching a foreign language, their main characteristics and directions. The authors explain the need to use new approaches in foreign language classes, so that a modern student is ready and able to adapt to social and professional changes; it is necessary to develop his skills in critical analysis of information from any symbolic systems (figurative, sound, text). The article describes the advantages of integrating modern Internet technologies into the educational process. It was found that in connection with this advantage, new tasks are set for teachers: to prepare the new generation to perceive various information, to teach them to understand it, to master methods of communication based on non-verbal forms of communication with the help of technical means. In these conditions, modern information and communication technologies, which are a combination of modern computer equipment, telecommunications, and software tools that provide interactive software and methodological support for modern teaching technologies, are becoming especially popular. The article defines the concept of “web quest”, provides a typology of web quests, and also examines the possibilities for the development of this innovative technology in the educational process when teaching a foreign language. The article reflects the advantages of using webquests over traditional methods of teaching a foreign language, describes the features of organizing work using webquest technologies for a teacher and the requirements for the level of language training of students. The role of webquest technology in remote control of the educational process is emphasized. The article presents the structure of an educational web quest, reflects the content of the resources students need to complete tasks, and also shows the tasks of the teacher at all stages of the work performed by students. It was found that some of the important advantages of the webquest are: the development of teamwork skills, responsibility, and independence when making certain decisions.
