В статті досліджено перспективи підготовки майбутніх вчителів фізичної культури у вищих педагогічних навчальних закладах України початку ХХІ століття. Проведене дослідження дозволило визначити перспективи підготовки майбутніх вчителів фізичної культури у педагогічних ВНЗ.
Important problems of preparation of future Physical Culture teachers at higher educational establishments of Ukraine are analyzed in the article. The investigated regulatory documents, sources of literature and records permit us to affirm that the period between 90’s of the 20th century have been characterized by the decreasing interest of authorities, educational establishments of all levels and scientists to the organization and subject of the preparation. Nevertheless at the beginning of the 21st century the situation with the preparation of physical culture teachers and character building at school started to improve, including what refers to search of new subject of education, training forms and methods, perfection of the educational process at the physical training faculties. The article deals with the prospective aspects of creative use of pedagogical higher educational establishments achievements. We have analyzed regulatory documents that govern higher educational establishments’ activities. We have summed up Ukrainian scientists’ opinions that permit to define the stages and perspectives of physical education faculties’ students’ preparation. The research of Ukrainian pedagogical higher educational establishments’ dedicated to physical training teachers’ preparation activities indicates the existence of controversies between the modern requirements and real situation. In the article we have analyzed the reasons for physical training faculties’ students’ low level of preparation. It has been established that the improvements are possible in case there are clearly defined requirements to the teacher as an individual, professional competence level according to modern school practice needs. The carried out research permits to define the future physical training teachers’ preparation perspectives.
