Стаття присвячена розгляду педагогічної компетентності як частини професійної. Використовуючи методи аналізу та узагальнення, визначено елементи педагогічної компетентності. Обгрунтовано можливості навчальної дисципліни “Педагогічна майстерність у вищій школі” у формуванні педагогічної компетентності здобувачів освітньонаукового рівня вищої освіти непедагогічних спеціальностей. Результати можуть бути використані у розробці науковоосвітніх програм, для обґрунтування рівнів та критеріїв педагогічної компетентності та у практиці підготовки аспірантів.
The article addresses the competence approach in education, consideration of problems establishing this approach in higher education has been addressed. The gaps of pedagogical preparation postgraduates third level of higher education what are entitled to teaching in higher education are dealt with. We used methods of comparative analysis and synthesis, generalization and systematization for giving definitions of "competence", "professional competence", "pedagogical competence" as part of the professional competence. The article highlights pedagogical competence for graduates of third level of higher education as a professional, which gives an opportunity to efficiently carry out educational work with students at the university and demonstrate thus high level of educational excellence. The author focuses on the approaches to the structure of teaching competence. A competence in the regulations which must to be characteristic for graduate of educational and scientific level of higher education that meets the 8th skill levels and provide an opportunity to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy analyzed. The results of this investigation show that pedagogical competence of candidates for the third level of higher education consisting of 1) the ability to carry out the educational process in higher education based on the methodology of educational activities; 2) the ability of their self-identity and self-esteem of their professional activities, realization of himself as a teacher-master. The learning outcomes of postgraduates in accordance with selected components of teaching competence have been researched into. Advisability of study discipline "Pedagogical skills in high school" applicants educational and scientific level of higher education non-teaching specialties has been established. The article highlights educational opportunities above-named discipline in the formation of pedagogical competence. The author adduces especially the content of the discipline, forms and methods of activities that contribute to the formation of pedagogical competence and successful implementation of the future teaching. The results of this investigation can be used in the development standards of higher education, research and educational programs to justify the levels and criteria of pedagogical competence and in the practice of preparing postgraduates of third level of higher education.

Обоснованы возможности учебной дисциплины "Педагогическое мастерство в высшей школе" в формировании педагогической компетентности соискателей научно-образовательного уровня высшего образования непедагогичных специальностей. Результаты могут быть использованы в разработке научно-образовательных программ, для обоснования уровней и критериев педагогической компетентности и в практике подготовки аспирантов.
