У статті представлено методику удосконалення швидкісних і координаційних здібностей гравців у настільного
тенісу в умовах навчання у вузі. Виявлено достовірне (Р<0,05) покращення показників швидкості переміщення, швидкості ударних рухів, орієнтування у просторі і точності рухів. Встановлено недостовірне (Р>0,05) покращення показника
відчуття ритму у гравців. Доведено ефективність методики удосконалення швидкісних і координаційних здібностей на
основі загальної тенденції до позитивних змін показників спеціальної фізичної підготовленості, які обумовлюють
формування спортивної майстерності студентів.
The aim of the research is to discover the peculiarities of the methodology of the
improvement of speed performance and coordination abilities of the table tennis players while studying in higher educational
establishment. The research methods: theoretical analysis of the specialized literature and information from the Internet resources;
pedagogical testing; pedagogical experiment; the math statistics methods.
The article resents the means for the improvement of the following manifestations of the speed performance abilities: the
speed of the single movement, the speed of the response, the speed of motion and frequency of the table tennis players’
movements. It covers the main ideas of the methodology of the improvement of speed performance abilities according to the load
components. The article suggests the ways to improve the following kinds of the coordination abilities: management of the temporary
space and power parameters of the movement; space orientation, the table tennis players’ feeling of the rhythm and the ball. It
covers the main ideas of the methodology of the improvement of coordination abilities according to the load components.
The given method sareimplemented at the lessons of improving sportsmanship in table tennis among the students of the
Physical Education faculty.
There was conducted the pedagogical testing of the students’ speed performance and coordination abilities twice during
the year: in September 2016 and in May 2017. Comparative analysis of the average group performance of the specific physical
preparedness was carried out. According to the performance of the speed of motion, the speed of impact movements, space
orientation and the precision of the movements there was discovered reliable (Р<0,05) improvement of the results. According to the
performance of the feeling of the rhythm there was discovered unreliable (Р>0,05) improvement of the results.
Thus, the efficiency of the proposed methodology of the improvement of the students’ speed performance and coordination
abilities at the table tennis lessons was proved on the basis of the tendency to wards the reliable positive change of the performance.
