За великим рахунком, інформаційне суспільство є соціумом, ефективність розвитку якого істотно залежить від конструювання, виробництва і поширення інформації. При цьому саму інформатизацію слід інтерпретувати насамперед як вдосконалення когнітивних соціальних структур і процесів.

По большому счету, информационное общество является социумом, эффективность развития которого существенно зависит от конструирования, производства и распространения информации. При этом саму информатизацию следует интерпретировать прежде всего как совершенствование когнитивных социальных структур и процессов.
A language is a network which unites people, their thinking and capabilities of perception with common conceptual conventions. Considerable functional characteristic of a language is its role of communication and interaction tool, which generates conscience and mentality of an individual. When it deals with the information society, it refers to a key role of information in the social activity. Generally speaking, the information society is a society, the efficient development of which depend on design, production and widespread of information. But the informatization itself should be interpreted as improvement of cognitive social structures and processes. The mass media is the most important channel of mass communication of modern society: they squeezed press, books and cinema in the informative Olympia, and they also have the characteristics of a universal agent of public communication which represents mainly key reality at the level of mass conscience. The information, which became verbal and was distributed by the channels of mass communication, is one of the most important society management tool. But such management is not protected from the deformation and abuses: it may be carried out under the influence of adequate sense of reality to manipulate and create warped world view. Therefore, bearing in mind the advantages of the information society, at the same time one cannot help considering that it has not only new perspectives, but also problems and risks. In this respect the credibility aspect and illusiveness of senses represented by mass media have crucial importance. For the purpose of perception of the mass media texts the social and cultural criteria are of special importance, which are based on a certain hierarchy of cultural convictions which appeared during the mindset formation and axiological genesis of public conscience, mental sphere of the society.
