Підходи до визначення сутності іредентизму : методологічний аспект

Abstract

У статті аналізуються дослідницькі підходи до тлумачення сутності іредентизму. Показано, що з огляду на багатоаспектність явища і різноманітність його конкретно-історичних форм спостерігається понятійний плюралізм. В основу багатьох визначень покладено критерії статусу учасників об’єднавчої стратегії або її ініціатора, але такі дефініції досить однобічні, оскільки не охоплюють усі випадки. З позицій раціонального підходу запропоновано розглядати досліджуване явище саме як «політику іредентизму», тобто цілеспрямований курс на об’єднання в межах однієї держави таких груп, які вважаються спорідненими за етнокультурною чи іншими ознаками. В основі політики іредентизму лежать уявлення (вірні чи хибні) про «незвільненість» території, що неодмінно передбачає територіальні приєднання

The research approaches to the interpretation of the essence of irredentism are analysed in the article. It is indicated that depending on the multidimensional phenomenon and the diversity of its concrete historical forms, conceptual pluralism is observed. The criteria of the status of participants of unifying strategy or its initiators are taken as the basis for many definitions, but they are rather one-sided, because they do not cover all cases. From the perspective of rational approach, it was proposed to consider the phenomenon as «a policy of irredentism», in other words – as a targeted course to unification of those groups, which are deemed to be related by the ethnocultural principal or other characteristics in one state. The ideas (true or false) about «unfreedom» of the territories, which necessarily implies territorial accession, underlie the principals of the irredentist policy
