Particular Qualities of the Empirical Research of the Meaning of Life Orientations Development in Adolescence

Abstract

У статті розглянуто проблему смисложиттєвого розвитку особистості юнацького віку. Переосмислені головні критерії розвитку смисложиттєвих орієнтацій в юнацькому віці на основі аналізу отриманих емпіричних даних. Автором проаналізовано факт спростування ролі рефлексії як основного механізму розвитку смисложиттєвих орієнтацій. Поставлено питання про «якість» й «характер» рефлексії, внаслідок якої можна як віднайти життєві смисли, так і втратити їх. Доведено, що рівень розвитку досліджуваного феномена залежить від усвідомлення смислу життя, часової перспективи, матеріальної забезпеченості та провідної діяльності. Встановлено прямий зв'язок між розвитком смисложиттєвих орієнтацій та духовним потенціалом юнаків. Визначено подальший хід наукового пошуку, а також визначено один з його найголовніших аспектів, що полягає у розвитку смисложиттєвих орієнтацій юнаків через духовне самоусвідомлення

The article deals with the problem of the development of ideas about the meaning of life in adolescence. Basic criteria of the meaning of life orientations development in adolescence are reinterpreted based on an analysis of the received empirical data. The author analyzes the fact of refutation of the role of reflection as a basic mechanism of the meaning of life orientations development. It raises the question about the “quality” and “character” of reflection, as a result of which one can both find meanings in life and lose them. It is proved that the level of development of the phenomenon under consideration depends on the awareness of the meaning of life, time perspective, material security, and leading activity. A direct link between the meaning of life orientations development and spiritual potential of young men is defined. A further course of scientific research is scheduled as well as one of its most important aspects is defined which lies in the meaning of life orientations development in young men through the spiritual consciousness
