У статті підтверджено актуальність впливу освіти на стан здоров’я школярів, наведено дані
світових наукових досліджень щодо впливу освіти з питань здоров’я у цьому процесі. Проаналізовано досвід впровадження
освіти з питань здоров’я у США. Окреслено шляхи оптимізації та інтенсифікації зазначеного процесу в Україні.
В статье подтверждена актуальность влияния образования на состояние здоровья школьников,
приведены данные мировых научных исследований о влиянии образования по вопросам здоровья в этом процессе.
Проанализирован опыт внедрения образования по вопросам здоровья в США. Определены пути оптимизации и
интенсификации указанного процесса в Украине.
The process of reformation that occurs today in the Ukrainian educational space provides updating of its contents through the
introduction of the concept of "New Ukrainian School" through the development of new standards and writing new programs based on
competency approach. Through research, analysis and the establishment of regional and general patterns and trends of the
educational experience of various countries in the implementation of health education, we can predict their possible expression in the
educational space of Ukraine and identify ways to transfer it to the plane of our country. The aim of our research is a to analyze the
experience of implementing health education in the schools of United States. The object of our study is defined education in the
schools of United States. The subject of research - experience of implementing health education. In article is confirmed the relevance
impact of education on the health of schoolchildren. Analyses of the researches has shown that school health education has a
significant impact on reducing the manifestations of unhealthy behaviors of children and adolescents, such as tobacco use, unhealthy
eating habits, physical inactivity, alcohol and drug abuse, inability to manage stress, risk of injury and violence. Despite a number of
positive achievements in the implementation of school health education in Ukraine, we consider necessary to carry out its
intensification and optimization based on analysis of the positive experience of international practices, including the US experience.
Optimizing and intensification of health education we see in: health promotion at all levels and in all areas of public administration;
increasing of health education ranking in the curriculum; enhance the role of the teacher of physical education in the implementation of
health education, including bringing them to the teaching of health basics, etc.
