Subject of study methodical features of learning play chess of primary school age pupils; forms, methods and methods of
organizind sports activities; analysis of types of competitions. In the article there is information about practical use options for change in the
traditional learning process of children. With a view to enhancing their mental and sport activity; the features of the use the test system of
exercises that based on the chess rules, given age of children and terms of possible practical use of such system.
The main objectives of the study:
1. To analyze the pedagogical literature, literature on physical culture and information from the Internet on methodological features
of learning to play chess and innovative forms and methods of mass sports work.
2. Submit to discuss the educational value and empirically selected tested forms and methods of learning to play chess and
activation of motor activity of schoolchildren.
In considering the methodological characteristics of learning to play chess pupils of primary school age, it should be noted that
their age peculiarities of perception of educational material requiring chess trainer to use different methods of comparison, imaginative game
and grotesque explanations; control of the emotional state and the interests of children.
As a result of observation of teaching and testing in physical condition of children of innovative implementations allow processes to
enrich the experience of participation in various forms of motor activity of those who are engaged; increase motivation to exercise; provide
dynamic physical fitness according to age norm, and some indicators (development agility) observed positive results higher.
