Поетика романної прози Володимира Ґжицького

Abstract

Дисертація на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата філологічних наук за спеціальністю 10.01.01 – українська література – Національний педагогічний університет імені М. П. Драгоманова Міністерства освіти і науки України. – Київ, 2015. Дисертація присвячена комплексному дослідженню поетики романної прози В. Ґжицького як цілісної системи. Уперше в світлі системної поетології, структурно-функціонального методу, екзистенційної філософії, біографізму та психобіографізму розглядається форма і зміст усіх романів письменника – "Чорне озеро" (1929, 1957), "Захар Вовгура" (1932), "У світ широкий" (1960), "Великі надії", "Ніч і день" (1963), "Опришки" ("Довбуш", 1933, 1962), "Слово честі" (1968), "Кармалюк" (1971). Доведено, що В. Ґжицький – митець із оригінальною естетикою, психологією, жанрово-стильовою палітрою художньої творчості. Романістика митця репрезентує дихотомію модерного та соцреалістичного дискурсів, зумовлених трагічною долею письменника. Більшість його романів є полівалентними, синтетичними, оскільки поєднують у межах однієї форми декілька жанрових (соціально-психологічний, національний (політичний), любовно-еротичний, філософський, автобіографічний, індустріально-колгоспний, історичний) і стильових (неоромантичний, реалістичний, неореалістичний, імпресіоністичний, експресіоністичний, соцреалістичний) компонентів. Основні риси поетики романів В. Ґжицького – ліризація й драматизація наративу, імпліцитність, символізм образів, звернення до національної, екзистенційної проблематики, інтимно-еротичних мотивів, заглиблення в психологічний стан героїв, автобіографізм.

The thesis for the degree of Candidate of Philology in specialty 10.01.01 – Ukrainian literature – National Dragomanov Pedagogical University MP Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. – Kyiv, 2015. The thesis is devoted to complex research of poetics of novelistic prose by V. Gzhytsky as a system. For the first time the system of poetology was highlighted, structural-functional method, existential philosophy, biographism and psychobiographism was considered as well as the form and content of al his novels "Black Lake" (1929, 1957), "Zahar Vovhura" (1932), "The world today2 (1960) "Great Expectations", "Night and Day" (1963), "Opryshky" ("Dovbush" 1933, 1962), "Word of Honor" (1968), "Karmalyuk" (1971). The analysis of poetic components in novelistic prose of the writer allowed the author to find out the tendency to synthesize several kinds of genre and style in one text (industrial and collective, historical, autobiographical, national (political), social, psychological, intimate (love-erotic) adventure, domestic genre and neoromantic, realistic, neorealistic, impressionistic, expressionistic, socialist-realist style components), a great attention to the inner life, to existential motifs and images and symbols, to the developing of various types of time-space that promotes a certain kind of awareness life being of heroes, to the meaning of their existence in the world can be found in all his novels and gives a philosophical and universal air to all his novels. The central motif of novelistic works of artist that sounds like belief in the value of existence, honor, endurance, indestructibility of the human spirit was figured out, his creative principles were defined as following: the updating of literary tradition of the past by modern means; producing works which are useful to the recipient; true and accurate reproduction of reality; pretense to disguise and a certain conformism for opportunities to convey to the reader the information that must be hidden from the censors. The psychological duality of artist's tragic dissociation between love to Ukraine and adherence to communist ideology, between the hatred and falsehood obedience to the Soviet authorities was emphasized. It is proved that a kind of metatext of V. Gzhytsky’s great prose was his personality and biography, as heroes in epics more or less embody his character, attitudes, and novels are combined mutually existential death wish and will to live, creativity and destruction, despair and hope, physical confinement and spiritual freedom, love and hatred, which teetered between the author and novels combined mutually existential death wish and will to live, creativity and destruction, despair and hope, physical confinement and spiritual freedom, love and hate, between which author himself balanced. The dichotomy of modern and socialist-realist style of the novels was discussed, which was the result of the ambiguous artistic world of the author, which began to emerge in the heyday of modern art in the 20 – 30 years of the twentieth century, and was mutilated with the arrest and pressure of Soviet critics who demanded socio realistic "polishing" of the reality. If the first period (1920 – 1930's) of creative artist can be characterized as bold experimentation with form, bright national developing of novels, in the second period one can see partly modernist discourse and the attempt to "revive" (1950 – 1970's) realistic and socialist realism modernist canons with modernistic means (consciousness stream technique, attention to the inner world of intimate life, national and philosophical perspective). The research showed that together with its formal and semantic parameters romance philology is correlated to the modern intellectual, psychological, synthetic, national intentions literature of the Executed Renaissance presented in prose by M. Khvyliovy, V. Pidmohylny, M. Ivchenko, V. Petrov-Domontovych, and to immigration and anti-totalitarian novels by I. Bahrianyi, U. Samchuk, V. Vynnychenko, and autobiographical, historical and epochistoric novelistic prose in 1940 – 1950, 1960 – 1970 – the works by B. Antonenko-Davidovich, M. Stelmakh, A. Golovko, S. Sklyarenko, P. Zagrebelny who combined realistic populist, socialistrealist and modernist features. However, V. Gzhytsky is the artist of the original aesthetics, psychology, genre and stylistic palette in his works.

Большинство его романов являются поливалентными, синтетическими, поскольку сочетают в пределах одной романной формы несколько жанровых (социально-психологический, национальный (политический), любовно-эротический, философский, автобиографический, индустриально-колхозный, исторический) и стилевых (неоромантический, реалистичный, неореалистичный, импрессионистический, экспрессионистический, соцреалистический) компонентов. Основные черты поэтики романной прозы В. Гжицкого – лиризация и драматизация нарратива, имплицитность, символизм образов, обращение к национальной, экзистенциальной проблематике, интимно-эротическим мотивам, углубление в психологическое состояние героев, автобиографизм.
