Мета статті – проаналізувати теоретичні підходи до розуміння процесу культурної деколонізації через призму трансформації бібліотечної справи в Україні. Методологія дослідження включає загальнонаукові принципи систематизації та узагальнення досліджуваної проблеми, які дали змогу визначити та науково обґрунтувати наявні теорії, концептуальні підходи до розуміння таких понять, як: бібліотечна справа, деколонізація, культурна деколонізація. Застосування аксіологічного підходу дало можливість виявити в розглянутих теоріях міждисциплінарний характер, окреслити персоналізовані наукові позиції. Використання аналітичного методу сприяло виявленню міждисциплінарних практик культурної деколонізації, що є практично значущими для використання в процесах трансформації бібліотечної послуги відповідно до викликів української реальності. Наукова новизна полягає в здійсненні культурологічного осмислення процесу культурної деколонізації як важливого індикатора в процесах українізації бібліотечної справи. Висновки. Процес деколонізації має передбачати не тільки топонімічний зміст, а й культурний. Культурна деколонізація повинна стати одним з пріоритетних напрямів бібліотечної справи. Ціннісно виважена політика культурної деколонізації та ефективно сформований історико-культурний топонімічний ландшафт дозволить якісно вплинути на суспільну свідомість українців і вийти з радянської колонізації. Феномен деколонізації, культурної зокрема, через призму трансформації бібліотечної справи є темою сьогодення, її активного міждисциплінарного теоретико-практичного осмислення. Наведені авторські дослідження з проблематики практик і змісту процесів деколонізації публічного українського простору дали змогу констатувати про пріоритетність формування єдиного розуміння важливості деколонізації в Україні, основою якої має стати громадянська освіченість у питаннях необхідності й результативності таких процесів. Пріоритетність культурної деколонізації в діяльності закладів культури, бібліотечної системи зокрема, можна розглядати як стратегічно важливий процес у відродженні та збереженні унікальної української спадщини та позбутті імперської. Глибинні зміни деколонізації свідомості потребують дієвого практичного інструментарію як від різних зацікавлених інституцій, так і персональної пріоритетності людини-громадянина. А тому культурні практики, досвід працівників сфери культури можуть бути результативними та безцінними в процесах загальноукраїнської деколонізації.
The purpose of the article is to analyze theoretical approaches to understanding the process of cultural decolonization through the prism of the transformation of librarianship in Ukraine. The research methodology includes general scientific principles of systematization and generalization of the problem under study, which made it possible to identify and scientifically substantiate existing theories, conceptual approaches to understanding such concepts as: librarianship, decolonization, cultural decolonization. The use of an axiological approach made it possible to identify the interdisciplinary nature of the theories under consideration and to outline personalized scientific positions. The use of an analytical method contributed to the identification of interdisciplinary practices of cultural decolonization, which are practically significant for use in the processes of library service transformation in accordance with the challenges of Ukrainian reality. The scientific novelty lies in the implementation of a culturological understanding of the process of cultural decolonization as an important indicator in the processes of Ukrainization of librarianship. Conclusions. The process of decolonization should include not only toponymic content, but also cultural content. Cultural decolonization should become one of the priority areas of librarianship. A value-based policy of cultural decolonization and an effectively formed historical and cultural toponymic landscape will allow for a qualitative impact on the public consciousness of Ukrainians and an exit from Soviet colonization. The phenomenon of decolonization, cultural in particular, through the prism of the transformation of librarianship is a topic of today, its active interdisciplinary theoretical and practical understanding. The presented author's studies on the issues of practices and content of the processes of decolonization of the public Ukrainian space made it possible to state the priority of forming a single understanding of the importance of decolonization in Ukraine, the basis of which should be civic education in matters of the necessity and effectiveness of such processes. The priority of cultural decolonization in the activities of cultural institutions, the library system in particular, can be considered as a strategically important process in the revival and preservation of the unique Ukrainian heritage and the elimination of imperial. Deep changes in the decolonization of consciousness require effective practical tools from various interested institutions and the personal priority of the citizen. Therefore, cultural practices and the experience of cultural workers can be effective and invaluable in the processes of all-Ukrainian decolonization.
