Футбол один із провідних олімпійських видів спорту на Кіровоградщині. Має традиції і успіхи на міжнародній арені, в тому числі і олімпійській. Дослідження проведено з метою здійснити аналіз спортивних досягнень гравців та тренерів – представників футболу Кіровоградщини на Олімпійських іграх сучасності. Проаналізовано літературні джерела вітчизняних та зарубіжних фахівців. Визначені фахівці футболу Кіровоградщини, що приймали участь у системі олімпійської підготовки та учасники Ігор Олімпіад: 4 футболіста, 6 тренерів. В. Вєрємєєв найуспішніший футболіст-олімпієць Кіровоградщини, який завоював бронзову олімпійську медаль. В олімпійській скарбничці футболу Кіровоградщини 1 бронзова медаль. Категорії тренерів, що приймали участь у системі олімпійської підготовки: клубні тренери – Й. Лі́фшиць, Р. Ротань, С. Кравченко; тренери збірної – Р. Ротань, С. Кравченко; тренери з видів підготовки – Є. Гресь; перші тренери – О. Новіков, В. Третьяков. Дослідження і пропаганда досягнень атлетів та тренерів має велике значення для виховання нових видатних футболістів та тренерів-олімпійців, розповсюдження олімпійських ідеалів, визначення ефективності навчально-тренувальної діяльності відділень футболу у спортивних закладах області та футбольних клубах.
Football is one of the leading Olympic sports. It has deep historical roots - the first teams in this game appeared at the end of the nineteenth century. Football of Kirovohrad region has traditions and successes in the international arena, including the Olympic one. Research and promotion of these achievements is of great importance for the further development of Olympic football in Kirovohrad region, the upbringing of new outstanding players and coaches-Olympians, the dissemination of Olympic ideals in certain areas of the region, Ukraine and the world. The study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the sporting achievements of players and coaches - representatives of football of Kirovohrad region at the modern Olympic Games. Literary sources of domestic and foreign specialists were analyzed. Football specialists of Kirovohrad region who participated in the Olympic training system and participants of the Games of the Olympiad were identified. 4 football players from Kirovohrad region participated in the Olympic Games. 6 coaches from Kirovohrad region participated in the Olympic training system for football players. V. Veremeyev is the most successful football player-Olympic player from Kirovohrad region, who won a bronze Olympic medal. There is 1 bronze medal in the Olympic football treasury of Kirovohrad region. Categories of coaches who participated in the Olympic training system: club coaches – Y. Lifshitz, R. Rotan, S. Kravchenko; national team coaches – R. Rotan, S. Kravchenko; coaches for training types – E. Gres; first coaches – O. Novikov, V. Tretyakov. Research and promotion of the achievements of athletes and coaches is of great importance for the upbringing of new outstanding football players and coaches-Olympians, the dissemination of Olympic ideals, and the determination of the effectiveness of the educational and training activities of football departments in regional sports institutions and football clubs.
