31 липня 2020 року Федерація футболу Португалії (португальською - Federação Portuguesa de Futebol) затвердила Стратегію сталого розвитку до 2030 року. Документ під назвою "Футбол є метою" є рішучим зобов’язанням на сьогодення та майбутнє для всього португальського футболу. Вивчення португальського досвіду спортивного відбору, селекції та ігрової орієнтації юних і висококваліфікованих футболістів видається достатньо вагомим й інформативним знаряддям пізнання у сучасних умовах розвитку європейського та світового футболу. Даний інформаційно-методичний компонент може надати можливість підвищення якості побудови, організації селекційних і змагально-ігрових аспектів, що сприятиме зростанню конкурентоспроможності українських професійних команд з футболу на міжнародній спортивній арені [3 - 12]. Мета дослідження – визначити особливості організації, проведення та науково-методичного забезпечення процесу навчання грі та спортивного відбору, селекції й ігрової орієнтації футболістів у Португалії.
On July 31, 2020, the Portuguese Football Federation (Federação Portuguesa de Futebol - in Portuguese) approved its Sustainable Development Strategy until 2030. The document, entitled "Football is the goal", is a strong commitment for the present and the future for the whole of Portuguese football. The study of the Portuguese experience of sports selection and game orientation of young and highly qualified football players seems to be a sufficiently weighty and informative tool of knowledge in the modern conditions of development of European and world football. This information and methodological component can provide an opportunity to improve the quality of construction, organization of selection and competitive game aspects, which will contribute to the growth of competitiveness of Ukrainian professional football teams in the international sports arena.
The mission of the Portuguese Football Federation, according to the approved document, is to coordinate, stimulate, develop and organize football in all its dimensions and categories, in a harmonious whole, ensuring its continuity and growth throughout the national territory and in all social environments and age groups. The main objective of Portuguese football, at the same time, is to position itself as one of the most important and competitive in the international scenario for the development of this sports industry.
The purpose of the study is to determine the features of the organization, conduct and scientific and methodological support of the process of teaching the game and sports selection and game orientation of football players in Portugal.
