Формування інформаційно-цифрової компетентності у процесі вивчення дисциплін природничо-математичного циклу засобами лабораторії PhET

Abstract

У статті наведено приклади використання лабораторії PhET на уроках дисциплін природничо-математичного циклу як під час дистанційного, так і під час змішаного навчання. З’ясовано, що лабораторія містить широкий спектр реалістичних та інформативних моделей з природничих наук та математики, які доцільно використовувати для візуалізації природних та технічних процесів з метою кращого засвоєння програмового матеріалу та поглибленого вивчення тем. Інтерактивність симуляцій сприяє активній участі учнів в освітньому процесі, стимулює навчально-пізнавальну діяльність учнів, підвищує мотивацію до навчання. Показано, що моделі лабораторії сприяють включенню в інноваційно-дослідну діяльність здобувачів освіти, умінню працювати з інформацією, аналізувати, обробляти, візуалізувати дані, отримані в ході такої діяльності, розвитку критичного мислення, та навичкам роботи з цифровими застосунками. Визначено, що використання комп’ютерних симуляцій сприяє підвищенню рівня не лише пізнавального інтересу учнів, а й формуванню у них інформаційно-цифрової компетентності. На основі науково-педагогічної літератури здійснено аналіз поняття: «інформаційно-цифрова компетентність», визначено його суть та зміст. Висвітлено практичні здобутки педагогів-практиків у використанні симуляцій лабораторії PhET, які сприяють підвищенню якості освітнього процесу взагалі та процесу формуванню інформаційно-цифрової компетентності зокрема. Доведено доцільність та ефективність застосування комп’ютерних моделей, запропонованих у середовищі PhET, для формування інформаційно-цифрової компетентності усіх учасників освітнього процесу. Системне використання цифрових технологій учителем, його здатність та готовність показати необхідність та доцільність їх використання для розв’язання конкретних прикладних та компетентнісних задач неабияк сприяють формуванню зазначеної компетентності у здобувачів освіти.

The article presents examples of the use of the PhET laboratory in the lessons of disciplines of natural and mathematical cycle both in distance and blended learning. It has been established that the laboratory contains a wide range of realistic and informative models from natural sciences and mathematics, which should be used to visualise natural and technical processes in order to better understand the programme material and study topics in depth. The interactivity of simulations contributes to the active participation of students in the educational process, stimulates the educational and cognitive activity of students, and increases the motivation to study. It is shown that laboratory models contribute to the inclusion of students in innovative and research activities, the ability to work with information, analyze, process, visualise data obtained during such activities, the development of critical thinking, and skills in working with digital applications. It has been determined that the use of computer simulations contributes to increasing the level not only of students' cognitive interest, but also to the formation of their informational and digital competence. On the basis of scientific and pedagogical literature, an analysis of the concept: "information and digital competence" was carried out, its essence and content were determined. The practical achievements of practicing teachers in the use of simulations of the PhET laboratory, which contribute to the improvement of the quality of the educational process in general and the process of formation of information and digital competence in particular, are highlighted. The expediency and effectiveness of the use of computer models proposed in the PhET environment for the formation of information and digital competence of all participants in the educational process are proved. The systematic use of digital technologies by the teacher, their ability and willingness to demonstrate the necessity and expediency of their use for solving specific applied and competence problems contribute significantly to the formation of specified competence in students of education.
