Уточнено зміст поняття «фізична підготовленість», яка розглядається науковцями як «результат» «процес», «рівень», що має прикладну спрямованість фізичної дії й допомагає людині виконувати важливі для неї види рухів. Схарактеризовано форми фізкультурно-оздоровчих заходів, використовуваних у процесі навчання молодших школярів.
The article analyzes the impact of physical culture and health activities, which are effective factors in strengthening health, improving motor activity, developing physical qualities, and increasing physical fitness of younger schoolchildren. Therefore, physical culture as a sphere of social activity aimed at preserving and strengthening health, the development of psychophysical abilities in the process of conscious motor activity, which is formed by many factors, is an important means of maintaining the health of children of primary school age, among which important health measures Physical culture and health activities are an important component of a schoolboy's motor activity. Forms of their implementation are used in all educational institutions. As a rule, researchers name among them gymnastics before lessons, mobile break, physical culture breaks, physical culture minutes, physical culture and sports holidays, competitions. The system of physical education in institutions of general secondary education is a unity of goals, tasks, methods, means and forms of doing, aimed at strengthening the health and harmonious development of the child, his physical qualities, the foundation of which is physical fitness – the level of functional capabilities of various body systems: cardiovascular, respiratory, muscular, nervous. In the theory and methodology of physical education, domestic scientists interpret this concept as "result", "process", "level", emphasizing the applied orientation of physical action, which helps a person perform the types of movements important to him. Physical fitness is not a one-dimensional phenomenon, it should be considered as a holistic process that combines constant observation of a child who leads an active lifestyle – runs, jumps, studies, plays. The practice of physical education proves that the physical fitness of elementary school students is achieved through active motor activity, in particular with the use of physical culture and health activities, which should be daily, mass and mandatory. It does not seem possible to achieve the appropriate level of physical fitness only in physical education classes or physical culture and health activities. Therefore, it is necessary to involve children in active motor activities through leisure time, classes in sports schools, clubs, sections, to educate them in interest and need for systematic physical exercises.
