Актуалізовано питання формування етнокультурної компетентності у майбутніх фахівців народних художніх промислів і ремесел в закладах професійної (професійно-технічної) освіти. Уточнено зміст етнокультурної компетентності, розкрито процес її формування в учнів, що здобувають професію «Виробник художніх виробів з дерева» відповідно вимог Стандарту професійної (професійно-технічної) освіти. Акцентовано, що процес прискорюється та набуває якісних змін за умови залучення учнів до проєктів соціально-культурного значення, зокрема, створення предметного середовища в певному етностилі.
The article deals with the issue of formation of ethno-cultural competence of future professionals of folk arts and crafts in institutions of professional and vocational education. Based on analysis of the content of the key notion in scientific practice, the author defines ethno-cultural competence, its content and structure. The process of its formation among students who acquire the profession “Manufacturer of wood art products made” is revealed. In the process of professional training, value-motivational, knowledge-activity and subject-reflection components were developed. It is emphasized that this process is accelerated and acquired qualitative changes when students are involved in projects of socio-cultural significance, in particular, the creation of a subject environment in a certain ethnic style.
The peculiarities of the project of socio-cultural significance “Creation of the recreation and information infrastructure in rehabilitation centre” Bear Shelter “Domazhyr” in Yavoriv region are revealed. The aim of the project was to create a centre, where bears would restore natural instincts and behaviour after a long stay in captivity, and at the same time, space for implementation of important social functions such as recreational, educational, environmental and ethno-cultural. The main characteristics of the project are the following: the landscape of the territory is decorated with small architectural forms and park sculpture, that were ornamented with the elements of Yavoriv painting; the project was completed by students of different courses during professional training; the environment of the centre is also used for educational and professional plein-air painting.
It is concluded that for future professionals of artistic professions, who are trained in professional and vocational education, it is necessary to develop ethno-cultural competence systematically based on the professional content using different approaches and means of displaying student’s creative achievements, including design projects. It characterizes the readiness of graduate students to create ethno-cultural values. At the same time, it is considered as a functional factor that influences professional development as well as it is a resource for successful activity.
