Theory and practice of design competence formation of future specialists of woodworking profile

Abstract

The necessity of design competence formation of future woodworking specialists who study in institutions of professional (vocational) education is substantiated. She is considered as an important component of professional competence. The content of professional standards in woodworking professions is studied and found out that the design and technological activities in them are differently displayed. It is established that for many professions is noted the introduction of artistic and aesthetic information of the professional character. This focuses on the gradual introduction of constructive and artistic approach into the educational process. The structure is defined and the design competence content is singled out in accordance with state standards of woodworking professions. In the historical aspect, the practice of design competence formation of future professionals is analyzed at example of the oldest professional (vocational) education institution in Ukraine of woodworking profile.

Обґрунтовано необхідність формування дизайнерської компетентності у майбутніх фахівців деревообробного профілю, які навчаються в закладах професійної (професійно-технічної) освіти. Вона розглядається як важлива складова професійної компетентності. Досліджено зміст професійних стандартів з професій деревообробного профілю і з’ясовано, що проєктно-технологічна діяльність в них по-різному відображена. Встановлено, що для багатьох професій відмічено уведення художньо-естетичної інформації професійного характеру. Це орієнтує на поступове впровадження в навчальний процес конструктивно-художнього підходу. Визначено структуру і виокремлено зміст дизайнерської компетентності відповідно до державних стандартів професій деревообробки. В історичному аспекті проаналізовано практику формування дизайнерської компетентності у майбутніх фахівців на прикладі найстарішого в Україні закладу професійної (професійно-технічної) освіти деревообробного профілю.
