Abstract

У статті обґрунтовано та проаналізовано сучасні підходи до фізичної терапії дітей молодшого шкільного віку з розумовою відсталістю в умовах спеціального закладу.

The article substantiates and analyzes modern approaches to physical therapy of children of primary school age with mental retardation in a special institution. The analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the problem of the organization of physical therapy of children with intellectual disabilities showed that the specific features of the process of physical education of children with intellectual disabilities are currently considered, the method of adaptive physical culture for children of this nosology has been tested; The positive influence of mobile games on the mental state of children and the need for complex rehabilitation were revealed. At the same time, special literature does not focus on the physical therapy of children with a severe degree of mental retardation; so far many issues of stimulation of motor development of such children remain fragmented, which substantiates and actualises the subject of this study. The purpose of the study was to identify the features of physical therapy for children of junior school age with mental retardation in a special institution. The problems of treatment and rehabilitation of mentally retarded children are closely interconnected and cover a wide range of medical, pedagogical and social activities. The organization of comprehensive assistance to such children should be carried out by health, social security, general and vocational education institutions. Physical therapy can significantly improve psychomotor development, level of self-service functions, communicative skills of children with a severe degree of mental retardation. The process of physical therapy for children with mental retardation requires an active search for the most optimal forms of organization and conduct. It is necessary to solve the problems of the continuity of the process of socialization of these individuals in order to integrate them into society through the active participation of all family members.
