У статті розглянуто сутність і взаємозв’язок сучасних STEM і STEAM педагогічних технологій. Звернено увагу на вплив цих технологій на формування творчої особистості. Досліджено особливості використання цих технологій у професійній (професійно-технічній) освіті. Обґрунтовано доцільність використання STEM і STEAM педагогічних технологій у навчанні кваліфікованих робітників у зв’язку із затребуваністю сучасним ринком праці нових навичок. Наведено зарубіжний досвід із упровадження цих технологій.
Nowadays, the competitiveness of a worker depends on the suitability of his skills to the labour market. In Ukraine, there has been a crisis situation with the training of skilled workers for modern productions that need skills that are formed by more thorough education. The introduction of a modular-competent approach, a general educational subject «Technologies» and the creation of modern educational and practical centers creates conditions for the implementation of a full-fledged STEM-education in the training of workers. The article deals with the essence and interconnection of modern STEM and STEAM pedagogical technologies that provide such education. Also attention is paid to the influence of these technologies on the formation of a creative person. The peculiarities of these technologies usage in vocational education are investigated. To demonstrate the feasibility of introducing STEM and STEAM education into the training of future workers, curricula for different training profiles were studied. Analysis of training programs has shown that there are STEM- and STEAM-oriented professions. Depending on the specifics of the profession, the proportion of disciplines covering these subject areas is changing. The expediency of using STEM and STEAM pedagogical technologies in the training of skilled workers is grounded in connection with the demand for modern skills in the modern labour market. The foreign experience in introducing these technologies is presented. The modern
specialist needs both «solid» skills, which are formed by STEM-education, and flexible («soft») skills, which are formed according to STEAM-education.
There is an increase in the number of professions requiring critical thinking, autonomy, responsibility, creative
ability to solve problems. Among them there are a considerable number of working professions requiring highly skilled
performers. This updates the need for the introduction of STEM- and STEAM-educated skilled workers into the
educational process.
В статье рассмотрены сущность и взаимосвязь современных STEM и STEAM педагогических технологий. Обращено внимание на влияние этих технологий на формирование творческих личностей. Исследованы особенности использования этих технологий в профессиональном (профессионально-техническом) образовании. Обоснована целесообразность использования STEM и STEAM педагогических технологий в обучении квалифицированных рабочих в связи с востребованностью современным рынком труда новых навыков. Приведены примеры зарубежного опыта по внедрению этих технологий.
