The article discloses the theoretical and methodological foundations of the development of endurance and the forms of its manifestation in students of various specialties. The necessity of introducing age-related differentiation of endurance assessment of students of different specialties based on the results of domestic studies is determined. The age-related dynamics of indicators in the development of endurance and forms of manifestation of students of various specialties is studied. Today, there are a large number of different techniques aimed at studying the state of health and its individual components in the context of modern higher education. Given that the result of professional activity is largely determined by the level of development of special capacity for work, in the case of its development in higher education, it is necessary to add professional and applied orientation of the development of the specified quality. When defining the concept of special endurance of a student, it is necessary to determine the type of sport in which specific work is performed. Typically, this term is used when developing the appropriate quality to perform elements of acyclic sports. Acyclic work includes exercises that are performed with a constant change in the nature of movements and intensity. For example, sports games or martial arts.
In the process of determining the overall endurance of practice, they note that during long-term work of moderate intensity in students increases the heart rate higher than 180 beats / min. in this case, the energy supply to the muscles is due to anaerobic mechanisms. These features testify to the low level of functioning of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems of the body of the modern student youth, which according to experts is caused by the inefficiency of the organization of the physical training process and the lack of scientifically grounded technologies for the development of physical qualities of future specialists.
