The article deals with the study of the problem of the professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports, actuality of the implementing interdisciplinary integration while teaching professionally oriented educational subjects in a higher educational establishment. The article presents a content analysis of the concepts of "integration", "professional training", "academic discipline", "interdisciplinary integration", "interdisciplinary communications in the educational process of the higher school". The article analyzes the status of interdisciplinary connections in the system of the modern higher education, presents some aspects of the methodological implementation of the continuity principles of the professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports while studying the following disciplines: "Theory and Methods of Physical Education", "History of Physical Culture", "Olympic and Professional Sport", "Modern Sports", "Traditions of Physical Culture in Ukraine". The author describes the structural and functional components of teaching materials for the professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports. The author's experience in professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports, which has theoretical and practical orientation, is suggested in the article. The author defines the logical and structural sequence of the studying the normative and special courses in the system of the professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports, which is based on the educational and professional programs according to the educational levels. The article reveals the essence of the effective practical and structural component of the professional training technology of future specialists in physical education and sports in the context of interdisciplinary integration.
