У статті представлено аналіз психолого-педагогічної, методичної та спеціальної літератури з проблеми формування готовності майбутніх учителів фізичної культури до здоров’язбережувальної діяльності учнів та визначено її структурні компоненти.

The research deals with an analysis of psychological and educational, methodical and special literature on the readiness formation of physical education teacher trainees to pupils' health preservation and its structural components. The younger generation health protection and preservation are the priority of social policy, one of the most important areas of society. Nowadays the child health rate is essential as the future society development depends on the state of health of the younger generation. However, recently in Ukraine the rapid rate of decline in health has been observed. Doctors state that during secondary schools training the pupils lose at least the third part of their health. The problem of pupils' health preservation in the theory and practice of modern pedagogy takes one of the leading places. One of its unexplored aspects is the readiness formation of future physical education teacher trainees at the stage of study in university to provide pupils' health preservation. The research relevance and expedience of the problem of physical education teacher trainees readiness formation to pupils' health preservation are caused by the need to overcome the contradictions, arising from the urgent need for physical education teacher trainees training to pupils' health preservation and the lack of proper methodical support of such training in universities. The analysis of psychological and educational literature makes it possible to determine the readiness of physical education teacher trainees to pupils' health preservation as a result of training and as an integrative formation of personality that determines its focus on conservation and development partners of health and includes structural components as motivational, cognitive, practical and reflexive.
