The article investigates the problems of improving the training of teachers of physical culture by forming their pedagogical mastery in the study of psycho-pedagogical disciplines in the university. The study of key components of the teacher of physical culture it possible to determine the optimal structure of his knowledge, to identify significant professional skills set features creative solutions specific educational tasks. Comprehensive analysis of the theory and practice of training teachers of physical education in high school of physical culture and sport allowed us to determine features of formation of pedagogical mastery of future teachers of physical culture. The methodological and psycho-pedagogical bases of formation of pedagogical mastery, presents the main features of the system of formation of pedagogical mastery of future teachers of higher education physical establishments. Technique of formation of pedagogical mastery’s in the study of psycho-pedagogical disciplines includes: development of teacher capacity through the continuous improvement of the level of training throughout the training in high school; development of professional knowledge and skills through the use of elements of technologies of developing training and inclusion in practice; the formation of professional and pedagogical competence in addressing the pedagogical situations; the formation of individual style with the help of educational activity, which is an analog of professional and personal needs of the students responsible.
