ЗМІ як чинник формування ціннісного самовизначення молоді в контексті психічного здоров’я

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано ціннісне самовизначення молоді та фактори (ЗМІ), які впливають на цей процес і дають можливість достатньо ефективно працювати з молоддю щодо формування системи цінностей та збереження психічного здоров’я. Доводиться, що опосередковане сприйняття світу через засоби масової комунікації нерідко формує помилкові цінності та нездатність до формулювання самостійних висновків та прийняття виважених рішень.

В статье проанализировано ценностное самоопределение молодежи и факторы (СМИ), которые влияют на этот процесс и позволяют достаточно эффективно работать с молодежью в плане формирования системы ценностей и сохранения психического здоровья. Доказывается, что опосредованное восприятие мира через средства массовой коммуникации нередко формирует ложные ценности и неспособность к формулированию самостоятельных выводов и принятия взвешенных решений.

In this article the authors attempt on the basis of analysis determine factors (mass media) of forming of self-determination of youth, that influence this process, which will lead to an effective work with adolescences on value system formation and preservation of mental health. Mediated world perception due to mass media often forms wrong values of teenagers and disability of self-deducing and making calculated decisions. This leads to deformation of understanding of moral principles and rules. Thereby appears an urgent necessity to form critical comprehension of information contest provided by mass media and to model own social position. Besides, the authors are examining social and psychological aspects of mass media influence on forming of value orientation of pupils. Constant reviewing of entertainment TV shows stems the tide of creative possibilities, cultivates passive lifestyle and causes environment for development of additive behavior. Mass media has huge possibilities to influence the lifestyle and mental health of teenager with informational torrents as well as with practical examples of such a lifestyle. It is stated, that counteraction measures of negative mass media influence on forming of value self-determination of youth can be determined with means of cultivating of media-literacy, namely: forming of critical thinking (when an individual receives information from the outer world and mass media); forming of personality of an individual; mutual discussions of negative mass media influence on several levels: society, family and human being; introducing specialized courses for media security to the process of education of youth.
