Інноваційна діяльність міжнародного союзу сучасного п’ятиборства

Abstract

Показано, що сучасне п’ятиборство за останні роки набуло безпрецедентних інноваційних змін як у форматі проведення змагань, так і у створенні субвидів, щільно пов’язаних з сучасним п’ятиборством – біатлу, триатлу, всесвітнього шкільного біатлону, тетратлону та лазер-рану. Аналіз діяльності Міжнародного союзу сучасного п’ятиборства (UIPM) щодо впровадження нового формату проведення олімпійських змагань- на одному стадіоні за п’ять годин, введення бонус-раунду у фехтуванні, об’єднання лазерної стрільби з бігом у форматі "лазер-ран", відображаєпередові тенденції розвитку спорту та створює умови для збереження сучасного п’ятиборства в програмі Олімпійських ігор до 2024 року.Також показано, що розвиток субвидів є важливим інструментом популяризації пентатлону як в Україні, так і в світі, що дозволяєзалучати до занять сучасним п’ятиборством спортсменів з суміжних видів спорту, а участь Федерації сучасного п’ятиборства України(ФСПУ) в міжнародних проектах UIPMможе значно покращити її матеріальну базу.

It is shown that the history of pentathlon is closely related to the long-term desire of people to implement the idea of harmonious development in a complex form, which combines competitions in various sports and originates from the Olympics of Ancient Greece. The rebirth of the pentathlon of present day is due to the activities of the International Olympic Committee established in 1894 and outstanding sports founder Baron Pierre de Coubertin who proposed to combine fencing, equestrian, shooting, swimming and running into a new integral sport - modern pentathlon. Creation of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon (UIPM)in 1948 during the XIV Olympic Games gave a new incitement to the development of modern pentathlon. The restriction on participation in the Pentathlon competition exclusively for officers was lifted off. It was also decided to hold annual World Championships (except for the year of the Olympic Games) and summing up both individual and team events. Over of its more than 100 years history, the modern pentathlon has not only preserved its historical components, but during recent years it has gained unprecedented innovational changes both in the format of the competition and in the creation of subsports. The biathlon, the triathlon, the world school biathlon, the tetrathlone and Laser run, tightly connected with modern pentathlon. An analysis of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon activities in a way of introduction of a new format of competitions at the Olympic Games in one stadium within five hours, an introduction of a bonus round in fencing, combining Laser shooting with a running in the format of Laser run gives the conclusions that such an activity reflects current trends in development of sport. This also creates conditions for the preservation of the modern pentathlon in a program of the Olympic Games until 2024. It has also been shown that the development of subsports is an important tool for the popularization of pentathlon both in Ukraine and in the world, and involving into the modern pentathlon of athletes from adjacent sports. The participation of Ukrainian Modern Pentathlon Federation (UMPF )in the UIPM international innovative projects as well as popularization of subsports lead to the positive changes in pentathlon. It also can bring the significant improvement of UMPF material base.
