Abstract

У статті розглядається педагогічний потенціал музичного театру. Охарактеризовано музичний театр як вид мистецтва та визначено основні його жанри в процесі історичного розвитку. Подано ретроспекцію використання музичного театру в школах України. Музичний театр розглядається як засіб виховання підростаючого покоління. Окреслено виховні функції музичного театру та шляхи використання його педагогічного потенціалу в освітньому процесі

The article describes the musical theater as an art form. The musical theater is described as an art form and its main genres are defined. The genres of the musical theater are considered in the process of historical development. A retrospective of the use of the musical theater in schools of Ukraine is submitted. The educational functions of the musical theater are described and ways of using its pedagogical potential in the educational process. Musical and theatrical activities children develop artistic and creative thinking, activates cognitive processes, enriches the sensual sphere enhances emotional perception, stimulates the development of creativity, imagination, fantasy, forms the elements of art and aesthetic experience. The musical theater is an important means of raising the younger generation. Outlined ways to modernize musical theater based on a functional analysis of theater.
