Закарпатські педагоги кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ століття про соціальну опіку дітей

Abstract

У статті висвітлюються передумови появи закладів соціальної опіки дітей періоду кінця ХІХ – початку ХХ століття в умовах перебування Закарпатських земель у складі Австро-Угорщини та Чехословаччини. Акцентується увага на внеску у започаткуванні спеціальних шкіл для дітей-сиріт, малозабезпечених та дітей з певними відхиленнями в розвитку педагогів, громадських діячів – О. Духновича та А. Волошина. Проаналізовано погляди педагогів щодо особливостей підготовки педагогів до роботи в закладах соціальної опіки дітей.

В статье освещаются причины возникновения учреждений социальной опеки детей периода конца XIX – начала ХХ века в условиях пребывания Закарпатских земель в составе Австро-Венгрии и Чехословакии. Акцентируется внимание на вкладе в учреждении специальных школ для детей-сирот, малообеспеченных и детей с определенными отклонениями в развитии педагогов, общественных деятелей – А. Духновича и А. Волошина. Проанализированы взгляды педагогов относительно особенностей подготовки педагогов к работе в учреждениях социальной опеки детей.

The orphanhood problem has the same long history as society itself. Today, orphanhood is a complex social phenomenon, which study is engaged in a variety sciences, because it affects at the personality formation and development processes on all life stages. At the present stage the interest to the Ukrainian pedagogy history is naturally increasing, necessary and value is using the past experience, in particular the legacy of outstanding Transcarpathian cultural and educational figures, teachers the second half of the 19th and early 20th century, which in their works raised social orphanhood issues, orphan children and care over them. O. Dukhnovich and A. Voloshin was belonged to the galaxy of such national leaders as well-known teachers, enlighteners, religious, public and political figures of the Transcarpathian region. Their educational and social activities aspects coverage in the light of the social education problems, the care issue, makes it possible to study the formation and development laws of residential institutions in the Transcarpathia at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. At this period in the Transcarpathia there were special schools that provided social care for children: schools (classes) subsidiary; school for deaf people; school for the blind; school for crippling. O. Dukhnovich defined the conditions for the teacher to work with children in social care need: social education is based on the principles of natural correspondence, humanism, nationality; the main factors of the person’s socialization is education (education is considered a teacher as a condition of well-being and personal well-being) and labor (laboriousness education and upbringing in labor is a guarantee of social pupils security); philanthropy and charity, morality and mercy. A. Voloshin raised the boarding schools opening issue for those children from remote districts who wanted to get education in the cities. A. Voloshin’s attention center was not only the quantitative schools growth, but also qualitative changes in the school system, improving the education content.
