Статтю присвячено проблемі використання економічної гри в підготовці менеджерів. Досліджено сутність
ігрової діяльності в широкому розумінні. Розкрито значення імітаційної гри для підвищення професійної компетентності
майбутніх менеджерів. Висвітлено досвід використання імітаційної гри у навчальному процесі. Представлені відповіді
студентів про переваги методу гри та особистісний розвиток у процессі гри.
Статья посвящена проблеме использования экономической игры в подготовке менеджеров. Исследована
сущность игровой деятельности в широком смысле. Раскрыто значение имитационной игры для повышения
профессиональной компетентности будущих менеджеров. Освещены опыт использования имитационной игры в
учебном процессе. Представлены ответы студентов о преимуществах метода игры и личностном развитии в
процессе игры.
The article is devoted to the use of economic game for managers training. In particular, economic game is considered as
means of enhance of professional competence for future managers.
Current research has broadly defined essence of game activity. Based on the theoretical analysis of the works by reputed
teachers, psychologists, methodologists, significant differences between game and other activities were identified. Need for such
characteristics was emphasized in the development of didactic games.
The article reviews classification of games, and deals with the history of simulation games being employed in the course of
professional training. Notion and specific of simulation game are introduced. So, simulation game is a game which reproduces an
activity of a certain object within specified time and is held under clear pattern which cannot be changed during the game. In this
respect, success of the game is determined by the fact if participants have better understood the point and if they are able to apply
mechanism for implementation of such pattern. Objects for simulation in managers training are company, bank, stock exchange,
etc.
In the article significance of simulation game to enhance professional competence of future managers was revealed as well
as experience of using such in the educational process. In the course of teaching "Business Economics", the first-year students are
offered simulation game on company management, and therewith economic content of the game and tasks which the students have
to perform are described.
After the game, reflective analysis of students’ activity was held, and relevant survey results were outlined. In particular,
students answered the questions about goal of the game and results obtained were given in comparison. Benefits of the method in
question over other methods of training, personal and professional qualities that game develops were also identified.
The conclusion was made relating to effectiveness of using imitation economic games to enhance professional competence
of future managers. Directions of further researches are defined.
