Modern live conditions put high demands to the level of physical development, ability to work and
functional state of instructors’ professional skills. Viewed and analyzed contemporary state of instructors’ professionalism forming
from general and special physical trainings. The benefits to be derived from a good physical fitness program are many. It can
reduce the number of instructors on profile and sick call, invigorate training, and enhance productivity and mental alertness. A
good physical fitness program also promotes team cohesion and combat survivability. The Army’s physical fitness training
program extends to all branches of the total Army. Effective instructor is critical to the success of a good physical training
program. Instructors must understand and practice the new Army doctrine of physical fitness. They must be visible and active
participants in physical training programs. Their example will emphasize the importance of physical fitness training and will
highlight it as a key element of the unit’s training mission. Instructors must emphasize the value of physical training and clearly
explain the objectives and benefits of the program. Instructors should also continually assess their units to determine which
specific components of fitness they lack. Once they identify the shortcomings, they should modify their programs to correct the
weaknesses. Instructors plan special training to help soldiers who need it. He regularly measure the physical fitness level of
every soldier to evaluate his progress and determine the success of the unit’s program. The application of sound leadership
techniques is especially important in bringing physically deficient soldiers up to standard. Adherence to certain basic exercise
principles is important for developing an effective program. The principles of exercise apply to everyone at all levels of physical
training, from the Olympic-caliber athlete to the weekend jogger. They also apply to fitness training for military personnel. The
program will improve or maintain all the components of physical and motor fitness, progressive, missionspecific physical training
for individuals and units. New methodology was theoretically grounded, exploited and infiltrated into the process of physical
culture. On the basis of results was shown the effectiveness of the methodology.
