The problem of solving contradictions between the level of social modern demands of the level of a young specialist training and non effective application (in the teaching and educational process) of the methods which will contribute to health saving of the students, youth and in the future – to the increase of efficiency of their labour, has been examined in the article. The analysis of health condition of the first – year students of Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, has been carried out. І has shown, that 30,4 % of women and 32,3 % of men don’t have any diseases, relatively 50,1 % and 38,2 % of respondents are inclined to have diseases and 19,5 % of women and 29,5 % of men have any diseases. So,the prevailing majority of the students in the Academy, have average and low level of heath condition. The motives of going in for sport and Physical Training, as perspective regulators of social and professional activity of the specialists the specialists to be in the future industry, have been determined. Both for men and women the main motives of going in for sport are: strengthening of their health, improving of their build, getting a credit and the high rating level. The attitude of the first–year students towards Physical Training and Sport and the level of independent physical activity, have been analyzed. Ranging of values among the first–year students of the technological specialties has been carried out. It has been determined that among the female students the leading values are: a family, health and children and among the male students the leading values are: health, a family and success. It has been summarized, that the defined results determine insufficient understanding by the specialists to be in the food industry,of the health value, health – saving activity; unsatisfactory level of health – saving knowledge,skills, habits and technologies and, as a result, these results have proved the fast of insufficient forming of their value attitude forwards health – saving. The importance of forming health – saving attitude of the specialists to be in the food industry has been argued in the article.
