У статті проаналізовано наукові праці з проблеми освіти дорослих та професійної підготовки учителів фізичної культури в системі неперервної освіти.
The article analyzes scientific papers on the issue of adult education and professional training of teachers of physical culture in the system of continuous education. It is noted that in the conditions of modernization of pedagogical education one of the main arising problems is professional training of teachers in the context of the paradigm of continuous education. In the paper indicated that the relevance of the search for effective methods of physical culture teachers` training is determined by the needs of the school in the new generation of teachers who are at a high level will implement health, education, and educational problems in the formation of a physically fit and healthy young generation that corresponds to the priority areas of the state educational policy of Ukraine. The research claims that an important role in achieving of a high level of professional training is given to the system of postgraduate pedagogical education which creates favorable conditions for optimization of the process of professional development of pedagogical workers, their continuing professional development, self-development and self-improvement. The article states that adult education is a division and an integral part of continuing education, the so-called «education for life». It solves complex issues of our time: the competitiveness, the ability to find the necessary niche in public life for any individual taking into account their interests and characteristics. The conclusion that the problem of professional training of teachers of physical culture in the system of continuous education is relevant at the present stage of development of our state.
