Статтю присвячено обґрунтуванню значущості гнучких умінь в освітньому процесі початкової ланки освіти. Розглядаються окремі аспекти підготовки майбутніх учителів початкової школи до розвитку soft skills молодших школярів у процесі фахової підготовки. Акцентується увага на вимогах не лише до професійних, а й до особистих якостей, якими має оволодіти перший вчитель. Здійснено рефлексію наукових джерел із означеної проблеми. Досліджено дефініції термінів “soft skills”, “hard skills” у науковому доробку вітчизняних і зарубіжних вчених, встановлено основні відмінності у сутності цих понять. Запропоновано авторське трактування: “soft skills” – це комплекс умінь або здатностей, які можна означити як метапредметні або загальні для різних видів діяльностей, що включають у себе деякі основні риси когнітивної та загалом інтелектуальної діяльності, емоційного інтелекту, управління власною діяльністю і продуктивною комунікацією з іншими людьми. “Нard skills” розглядаємо як “базові компетентності”, які становлять інтеграцію знань, досвіду, професійно значущих особистісних якостей, що сприяють досягненню високих результатів у процесі виконання професійної діяльності. “Hard skills” майбутніх вчителів включає: 1) систему професійних компетентностей, котра поєднує загально-дидактичні та спеціальні фахові знання; 2) систему фахових умінь; 3) професійні здібності та професійно значущі риси особистості. У контексті дослідження проблеми підготовки майбутніх учителів до розвитку гнучких умінь молодших школярів для поглибленого вивчення обрано 5 ключових умінь, такі як: взаємодія з людьми (Coordinating with others) або комунікація, критичне мислення (Critical thinking), креативність (Creativity), емоційний інтелект (Emotional intelligence), гнучкість розуму (Cognitive flexibility). Наголошується на необхідності формування готовності майбутніх учителів початкової школи до розвитку означених умінь у процесі фахової підготовки у ЗВО.
The article is devoted to substantiating the importance of soft skills in the primary school educational process. Some aspects of training future primary school teachers for developing primary school pupils’ soft skills in the professional training process are considered. Attention is paid to the requirements not only for professional but also for personal qualities that should be mastered by a primary school teacher. The analysis of scientific sources on the specified issue is carried out. The existing definitions of the terms “soft skills”, “hard skills” in the scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign scientists are studied and the main differences in the essence of these concepts are established. The author’s interpretation of the term is proposed: “soft skills” is a set of skills or abilities that could be described as meta-subject or comprehensive ones to various activities, including some basic features of cognitive and intellectual activity in general, emotional intelligence, self-management and productive interaction with other people. “Hard skills” are considered as “basic competencies”, which are the integration of knowledge, experience, professionally significant personal qualities that contribute to achieving high results in the process of professional activity. Therefore, the “hard skills” of future teachers include: 1) a system of professional competencies that combines general didactic and special professional knowledge; 2) a system of professional skills; 3) professional abilities and professionally significant personality traits. In the context of the searching the problem of training future teachers for developing primary school pupils’ soft skills for in-depth study 5 key skills are selected: interaction with other people or communication, critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence, cognitive flexibility. The attention is paid to the necessity to form future primary school teachers’ readiness to develop above mentioned skills in the process of professional training in higher education institutions.
