The article considers the formation of special professional and sociopersonal competencies. Special professional competencies include knowledge of the
communicative-pragmatic paradigm of sentence-discourse, its correlation with the
formal-grammatical, semantic-syntactic and derivational paradigms, the systems of
text and discourse categories, the structure of speech act, nature and typology of
communication in society. Socio-personal competencies include the ability to argue
the need for knowledge of the system and structure of communicative categories of
sentences, recognize and explain illocutionary acts in communication, distinguish and
analyze the intentional component in different types of discourse, understand the role
of the addressee in the processes of generation and interpretation of discourse.
