Міфічне та фантастичне у моделюванні соціальної реальності (на прикладі соціальної фантастики)

Abstract

Дисертація присвячена розробці соціально-філософської концепції співвідношення міфічного та фантастичного у моделюванні соціальної реальності шляхом аналізу творів соціальної фантастики. Обґрунтовується необхідність розширення проблемного поля соціально-філософських досліджень, зокрема у вивченні феномена сучасного міфу через залучення моделей соціального середовища, презентованих у творах соціальної фантастики. Визначається особливий статус соціальної фантастики в системі наукової фантастики та обгрунтовується необхідність її переосмислення у соціально-філософському дискурсі через її філософсько-світоглядні експлікації. Аналізуються механізми антиципації у міфі та фантастиці на основі співставлення міфологічної свідомості та утопічної свідомості у контексті розуміння утопії та антиутопії як першоформи сучасної соціальної фантастики. Досліджуються шляхи взаємовпливу первинної соціальної реальності та вторинної реальності змодельованої в творах соціальної фантастики.

Диссертация посвящена разработке социально-философской концепции соотношения мифического и фантастического в моделировании социальной реальности путем анализа произведений социальной фантастики. Обосновывается целесообразность расширения проблемного поля социальнофилософских исследований, в частности, в изучении феномена современного мифа посредством использования моделей социальной среды, представленных в произведениях социальной фантастики. Определяется особый статус социальной фантастики в системе научной фантастики и обосновывается необходимость ее переосмысления в социально-философском дискурсе через ее философско-мировоззренческие экспликации. Анализируются механизмы антиципации в мифе и фантастике на основе сопоставления мифологического сознания и утопического сознания в контексте понимания утопии и антиутопии, как предшественниц современной социальной фантастики. Исследуются пути взаимовлияния первичной социальной реальности и вторичной виртуальной реальности, смоделированной в произведениях социальной фантастики.

The thesis is devoted to the development of socio-philosophical concept of mythical and fantastic relationships in the simulation of social reality by analyzing the works of social science fiction. The special status of social science fiction in the genre system of science fiction and the necessity of rethinking the socio-philosophical discourse through its philosophical explication is determined by the author. The reasons of expansion of the problem field of socio-philosophical studies are substantiated in terms of studying the phenomenon of the modem myth through the involvement of the social environment models designed in the works of social science fiction. The author investigates the role of myth in the modeling of social reality in the works of social science fiction, and reveals the epistemological principles which are common in myth and science fiction, which include: unrealistic assumption, autological form of narration and deformation of chronotope. The general definition of social science fiction is proposed, according to which the modern social science fiction is a subgenre of science fiction, formed in the third quarter of the twentieth century, which combines the literary experience of classical utopias, and the whole literature of social and philosophical problems, is characterized by rationality in autological unrealistic assumptions and concerns the problem field of futurology, social philosophy, philosophical anthropology and philosophy of myth. The theoretical basis of defining the myth as a syncretic form of virtual reality and social science fiction as a unique form of objectification of virtual reality is carried out. The analysis of socio-cultural nature of the myth confirms the validity of the understanding the myth as the most important social phenomenon of our time and means of manipulating the mass consciousness. Utopia and dystopia are treated as the predecessors of modem social science fiction. The investigation of mechanisms of anticipation in myth and fiction is based on a comparison of mythological consciousness and utopian consciousness. The function of anticipation in social science fiction is based on a combining of the irrational mythological cognition with rational way of modeling a hypothetical reality and is realized in predicting the future development of social processes and social disaster prevention. The author defines important lingua-philosophical principals of modeling the reality of social science fiction by means of myth such as intertextuality and simulation. Intertextuality enables integration of myth into virtual worlds constructed by fiction literature and provides reducing of the cognitive gap between textual and real experience of a human being. There are two ways of including myth into science fiction: its archetypes can be reused (according to intertextuality principle) or rationalized (which results in creation of a new phenomena - social science fiction mythology). Simulation is a principle which reflects a trend of reducing the distance between reality and fictional models of social reality. Classical utopian models represented ultimate difference between reality and ideal fictional world, while the social science fiction model is a reasonable projection of the existing social reality to simulated conditions. In the future, the reality can be so close to simulated reality, that inability of consciousness to distinguish reality from a simulation would cause the coming of age of hyperreality. A variety of virtual social models realized in social science fiction literature, allow to estimate the inevitability of a fundamentally new problems which can potentially impact the humanity and can be an efficient alternative tool in the socio-philosophical and futurological research. The results of investigation of the ways of interaction of primary social reality and the secondary reality represented in works of social science fiction prove that mythical and fantastic form of virtual reality can efficiently influence the actual reality. They actively affect the actual social processes of the modem era and reflect changes in the thought of a human of network society. Mythological consciousness in its new status shows the collision of rational and irrational ways of cognition. The result of this process is the appearance of a new type of simulacrum - secondary virtual reality which is perceived as real as the actual primary reality. The results of the research can also complement the concept of multiple understanding of reality, according to which virtual reality generated by modem mythology is transformed into a special kind of objective reality.
