У статті розглянуто питання, що пов’язане із дослідженням перспективи проведення Чемпіонату Світу з
орієнтування на місцевості на базі національного природного парку «Синевир».
The article deals with the issue of research on the prospect of conducting the World Championship on field targeting on the
basis of the «Synevir» National Natural Park and the importance of improving the links between the sports tourism federation of
Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Center for Tourism and Local Lore, the Student Youth of Ukraine, the Federation of Sport Orientation of
Ukraine, the National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Drahomanov, the Science Education Center «Synevir», the National
Nature Park «Synevir» аnd schools, organizations of the Transcarpathian region on the basis of orientated tourist-local lore
cooperation.
In October, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-third year of the year in Zakarpatye held the first All-Union competition
where met twenty nine teams - representatives of the Union republics. In the orienteering competitions on the marked track and in a
given direction, there was a significant difference in the preparation of teams. Almost all prizes were won by the Baltic participants.
Therefore, it is logical to conduct a World Orienteering Championshipin the future on the basis of the «Synevir».National Natural
Park. In many countries, tourism and orientation are one of the most profitable sectors of the economy and an important source of
revenues to the national budget. In Ukraine, the development of this direction should become a powerful socio-economic lever, first
of all in the development of the internal regions and specifically the Transcarpathian region.
