Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі оцінки фізичної підготовленості студентів для підвищення якості
навчально-тренувального процесу з навчальної дисципліни “Фізичне виховання”. Завдання дослідження – оцінити фізичну
підготовленість студентів (18–19 років) фінансово-облікового факультету. У процесі дослідження проведено
тестування фізичної підготовленості студентів. За його результатами розроблено методичні рекомендації, які
можуть підвищити ефективність управління фізичною підготовкою.
In the article the author defines the
principle of improving orientation as a main principle. The meaning of which is in ensuring improved result due to participation of
physical education and sport. Today that becomes extremely relevant for physical training of young students. Individual level of
physical education of youth is defined by a complex of indicators of physical fitness.
The author emphasizes that high physical performance and endurance is directly tied to a person’s level of physical fitness.
In this regard increases in physical fitness of students on the basis of effective, evidence-based programs for physical training has
paramount social and economic value and one of priorities of departments of physical training in higher educational institutions of
Ukraine.
A considerable deterioration in health and decrease in level of physical fitness of young students has been observed many
years. The author believes a contradiction exists between the requirement of society to be well prepared physically and a healthy
youth. While at the same time reducing the number of hours dedicated to teaching physical education. The author emphasizes that
one class in physical education a week using modern techniques of physical training isn’t enough to improve the level of physical
fitness of student's youth. Long-term educational experience and scientific research of scientists gives credence to the claim that the foundation of
physical fitness of students of higher educational institutions is instilled between the ages of 6-17 years during the students years at
school. So the level of physical fitness of first-year students will depend on this base. For the article the author analyzed the level of
physical fitness of students attending the Odessa trade and economic institute of the Kiev national trade and economic university.
The author studied the physical fitness of students based on the measurement of their speed, endurance, force, dexterity and
flexibility. The results of this research indicated that most students had an average to below average level of physical fitness. The
obtained data creates positive prerequisites in development of effective systems to improve the students directed to independent
work on improvement of their level of physical fitness.The author characterizes physical fitness of the student as an animated
indicator of development of their dexterity and skill which is a result of their general and special physical training.
