In the article a principal concern is the question of organizations and methods of the lessons with the students of 17-20 years (first year of education), which not know how to swim. In given article considered question of differentiation students physical culture processing of the high educational institutions not profiled in the sporting education. The authors underlines the importance of differentiation process of the students elementary education to swim in view of the fact that quantitative level of students which not know how to swim increase every year. For the problem solving the authors suggests the method of optimization of the students elementary education to swim which need, in the judgment of the authors, the use of the factor of coordination aptitudes to swimming motions by lower limbs, typical one of the sportings styles of the swiming, as criterion of the differentiation process of the students elementary education to swim. The thesis is devoted to the problem of organization and methods of the firsts lessons with the students of 17-20 years not profiled in the physical culture, which not know how to swim. Within the framework of differentiated approach underlay the categorization on typological groups is realized on base hereditary conditioned coordination aptitudes. In article is considered question of the choice of the methods with provision for factor co-ordination aptitudes to swimming motions by lower limbs, typical one of the swim style. Experimental is proved efficiency of the offered methods of the shaping the swimming skills and skill on occupation on physical education with student youth in high school.
