Педагогічна діяльність і спадщина В.І.Харцієва (1866-1937рр.)

Abstract

Дисертаційне дослідження є першим комплексним науково-теоретичним аналізом поглядів і громадсько-просвітницької діяльності Василя Івановича Харцієва (1866 - 1937 рр.). У роботі визначено основні чинники формування світоглядної позиції та процесу становлення особистості педагога. Окреслено етапи професійної та наукової діяльності обраної персоналії. Проаналізовано систему теоретико-методологічних поглядів В.І. Харцієва, визначено пріоритети його наукової творчості. Виявлені основні напрями, зміст його громадсько-просвітницької діяльності. Визначено роль освітянина у становленні педагогічної освіти Єлисаветградщини (Кіровоградщини). Особливу увагу приділено аналізу внеску педагога в упорядкування і видання рукописів О. Потебні. Проаналізовано своєрідність організації навчально-виховного процесу в Єлисаветградському громадському комерційному училищі. Охарактеризовано це училище як авторську гуманістичну школу В.І. Харцієва. Визначено, що особливості організаційно-педагогічної діяльності і науково-методичної роботи педагога мали новаторський характер і займають гідне місце в загальному контексті історії педагогічної думки другої половини XIX – першої половини XX століття.

The Dissertation research is the first complex analysis of Vasily Ivanovich Hartsiyev’s (1866-1937) ideas and social – educational activity. In the research it is carried out the main reasons of forming his social position and developing process of the pedagogue’s personality. It is pointed out the stages of professional and scientific activity of the chosen personality. It is analysed the pedagogical, educational, scientific, social activities of this educator and innovator, humanist, director of the school, teacher, linguist, prominent figure of culture and education – Vasily Ivanovich Hartsiyev, who is characterized by forming his ideological positions. The process of personalizing V.I. Hartsiyev in the historical and pedagogical period during the late XIX - early XX century is found and described by the main factors which influenced upon V.I. Hartsiyev’s scientific and educational philosophy and educational views. It is described the period and the main directions of scientific and educational activities of V.I. Hartsiyev. It is analyzed and summarised the features of organizational, educational, scientific and technical work of the teacher and the practical experience of its author's activities at school - Elisavetgrad Public Commercial School. It is proved the special humanistic component of the educational process and implementing innovative ideas of the teacher formulated by V. I. Hartsiyev. It is presented he contribution of V.I. Hartsiyev in the national science development through arrangement and publication of A. Potebnya’s manuscripts. The main thesis results may be used within teaching the history of pedagogy, developing the curricula, textbooks, books on the history of Ukrainian science and culture.
