Мета статті – з’ясувати інформаційний потенціал листів української письменниці Ганни Барвінок до голови Ніжинського окружного суду М.В. Шугурова за 1899, 1900 рр., що зберігаються у фонді 180 «Шугуров Микола Васильович» в Інституті рукопису Національної бібліотеки України імені В.І. Вернадського. Для реалізації мети дослідження було використано біографічний, хронологічний методи, загальнонауковий метод системного аналізу. Наукова новизна полягає у тому, що до наукового обігу вводиться невідомі раніше листи української письменниці Ганни Барвінок до голови Ніжинського окружного суду М.В. Шугурова за 1899, 1900 рр. У процесі аналізу листування з’ясовано, що у добу Незалежності України дослідники проявляють помітний інтерес до опублікування та аналізу листування Ганни Барвінок із представниками інтелігенції ХІХ–ХХ ст. Листування О.М. Куліш та М.В. Шугурова потребує належного висвітлення. Автори статті з’ясували інформаційний потенціал листів О.М. Куліш до М.В. Шугурова за 1899 – 1900 рр. що зберігаються у фонді 180 «М.В. Шугуров» в Інституті рукопису Національної бібліотеки України імені В.І. Вернадського. Виявлено, що у листах піднімалися наступні проблеми: самотності та відсутності відповідного інтелектуального середовища після смерті чоловіка П.О. Куліша та брата В.М. Білозерського; збереження творчої спадщини та пам’яті П.О. Куліша; підтримка однодумців, серед них І.П. Пулюй. Оригінали листів за 25 травня, 17 червня 1899 р., 10 січня, 14 лютого 1900 р. що зберігаються в фонді № 180 Інституту рукопису Національної бібліотеки України ім. В.І. Вернадського написані російською мовою. Автори статті при здійснені публікації листів Ганни Барвінок до М.В. Шугурова за 1899–1900 рр. зробили їх переклад на українську мову.
The purpose of the article is to find out the information potential of the letters of the Ukrainian writer Hanna Barvinok to the head of the Nizhyn district court M.V. Shuhurov for 1899, 1900, which are stored in the fund 180 “Shuhurov Mykola Vasylovych” at the Institute of Manuscripts of V.I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. To implement the goal of the study, biographical, chronological methods, and the general scientific method of system analysis were used. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that previously unknown letters of the Ukrainian writer Hanna Barvinok to the head of the Nizhyn district court M.V. Shuhurov for 1899, 1900 are introduced into scientific circulation. In the process of analyzing the correspondence, it was found that during the period of Independence of Ukraine, researchers showed a noticeable interest in publishing and analyzing the correspondence of Hanna Barvinok with representatives of the intelligentsia of the 19th – 20th centuries. Correspondence of O.M. Kulish and M.V. Shuhurov needs proper coverage. The authors of the article have identified the information potential of the letters of O.M. Kulish to M.V. Shuhurov for 1899–1900 stored in the fund 180 “M.V. Shuhurov” at the Institute of Manuscripts of V.I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. It was found that the following problems were raised in the letters: loneliness and lack of an appropriate intellectual environment after the death of her husband P.O. Kulish and brother V.M. Bilozerskyi; preservation of the creative heritage and memory of P.O. Kulish; support of like-minded people, including I.P. Puliui. The original letters for May 25, June 17, 1899, January 10, February 14, 1900 stored in the fund 180 of the Institute of Manuscripts of V.I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine are written in russian. The authors of the article, when publishing the letters of Hanna Barvinok to M.V. Shuhurov for 1899–1900, translated them into Ukrainian.
