Статтю присвячено дослідженню особливостей впровадження та розвитку віртуальної інтернаціоналізації в системі вищої освіти. Метою статті є розробка рекомендацій щодо впровадження та розвитку віртуальної інтернаціоналізації в системі вищої освіти України. Доведено, що віртуальна інтернаціоналізація вищої освіти – це підтримуваний інформаційно-комунікаційними технологіями, координований процес впровадження міжнародного, між-культурного чи глобального виміру в цілі, функції та процес надання вищої освіти з метою підвищення якості освіти та науки, здійснення суттєвого внеску в розвиток суспільства й подолання глобальних викликів. Встановлено такі шляхи покращення якості вищої освіти України за допомогою віртуальної інтернаціоналізації: інтеграція найкращих міжнародних практик і методик; отримання доступу до міжнародних бібліотек, курсів і навчальних матеріалів; отримання можливості навчатися віртуально в міжнародному середовищі; залучення іноземних студентів, що робить можливим культурний обмін і збільшення доходів університетів; міжнародна співпраця й участь у глобальних освітніх проєктах; використання сучасних технологій; адаптація до нових ринкових умов; впровадження штучного інтелекту. Виокремлено такі стратегічні кроки для посилення віртуальної інтернаціоналізації в закладах вищої освіти: аналіз потреб та цілей, вивчення міжнародного досвіду, оцінка технічного обладнання та програмного забезпечення, співпраця з міжнародними партнерами, підготовка викладачів та студентів, моніторинг та оцінка результатів, фінансування та використання ресурсів, пропаганда та популяризація. Розроблено рекомендації щодо впровадження та розвитку віртуальної інтернаціоналізації в системі вищої освіти України. Визначено, що рекомендації для закладів вищої освіти України щодо впровадження та розвитку віртуальної інтернаціоналізації в системі вищої освіти України є надзвичайно важливими в умовах сучасного глобалізованого світу. Визначено, що віртуальна інтернаціоналізація дозволяє розширювати міжнародну співпрацю, що є особливо актуальним в умовах обмежень подорожей і розвитку цифрових технологій.
The article is devoted to the study of the particularities of the implementation and development of virtual internationalization in the system of higher education. The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations for the implementation and development of virtual internationalization in the higher education system of Ukraine. It has been proven that the virtual internationalization of higher education is supported by information and communication technologies, a coordinated process of introducing an international, intercultural, or global dimension into the goals, functions, and process of providing higher education to improve the quality of education and science, the implementation of significant external development of society, and overcoming global challenges. The following ways of improving the quality of higher education in Ukraine with the help of virtual internationalization have been established: integration of the best international practices and methods; obtaining access to international libraries, courses, and educational materials; being able to study virtually in an international environment; attraction of foreign students, which makes possible cultural exchange and increase of income of universities; international cooperation and participation in global educational projects; use of modern technologies; adaptation to new market conditions; introduction of artificial intelligence. The following strategic steps for strengthening virtual internationalization in higher education institutions are highlighted: analysis of needs and goals, the study of international experience, evaluation of technical equipment and software, cooperation with international partners, training of teachers and students, monitoring and evaluation of results, financing and use of resources, and promotion. Recommendations for the implementation and development of virtual internationalization in the higher education system of Ukraine have been developed. It was determined that the recommendations for higher education institutions of Ukraine regarding the implementation and development of virtual internationalization in the higher education system of Ukraine are successful in the conditions of the modern globalized world. It was determined that virtual internationalization allows one to expand international cooperation, which is especially relevant in the conditions of travel restrictions and the development of digital technologies.
