Особливості Голокосту на території окупованої нацистами Житомирщини (1941 – 1943 рр.)

Abstract

Для підготовки статті були використані фонди Державного архіву Житомирської області та документи галузевого архіву СБУ у м. Києві і архіву управління СБУ в Житомирі та опубліковані документи, архівна періодика. Вони дозволили проаналізувати особливості нацистських акцій зі знищення євреїв Житомирщини в період її окупації німецькими військами. Метою нашої статті є визначення та аналіз особливостей реалізації на Житомирщині нацистської програми «остаточного розв’язання єврейського питання» в Європі, встановлення відповідальних за цю сторінку геноцидальної політики нацистів, розкриття та особливості участі у знищенні євреїв місцевих колаборантів. Методи дослідження. становлять принципів об’єктивності, всебічності, системності та історизму, які втілені в життя завдяки використанню як загальнонаукових так і спеціально-історичних методів. Таких як, ретроспективний, аналітичний, порівняльно-історичний, описовий. Висновки. Масові вбивства єврейського населення на території Житомирської області розпочались вже в перші тижні нацистської окупації. Їх виконували спеціально підготовлені підрозділи айнзанцгруп та підрозділи місцевої допоміжної поліції. Важливим фактором пришвидшеної процедури знищення місцевого єврейства стало розташування в регіоні німецьких колоній Гегевальд і Фьорстерштадт. Знищення євреїв супроводжувалось застосуванням фізичного і психологічного знущання. З особливою жорстокістю нацисти знищували єврейських дітей та вагітних жінок. Майно вбитих, їх будинки та квартири стали оплатою для виконавців Голокосту. Жахливий нацистський геноцид, майже знищив єврейську культурну та етно-соціальну спільноту Житомирщини. Лише одиницям вдалось порятуватись від нацистського терору.

To prepare the article, the funds of the State Archive of Zhytomyr Region and documents of the branch archive of the SBU in Kyiv and the archive of the SBU department in Zhytomyr were used, as well as published documents and archival periodicals. They allowed us to analyze the features of Nazi actions to destroy the Jews of Zhytomyr region during its occupation by German troops. The purpose of our article is to determine and analyze the features of the implementation of the Nazi program of the “final solution of the Jewish question” in Europe in Zhytomyr region, to establish those responsible for this page of the genocidal policy of the Nazis, to reveal and identify the features of participation in the destruction of Jews by local collaborators. Research methods. constitute the principles of objectivity, comprehensiveness, systematicity and historicism, which are implemented through the use of both general scientific and special historical methods. Such as, retrospective, analytical, comparative-historical, descriptive. Conclusions. Mass murders of the Jewish population in the Zhytomyr region began in the first weeks of the Nazi occupation. They were carried out by specially trained Einsatzgruppen units and local auxiliary police units. An important factor in the accelerated procedure for the destruction of local Jewry was the location of the German colonies of Hegewald and Försterstadt in the region. The destruction of Jews was accompanied by the use of physical and psychological abuse. The Nazis destroyed Jewish children and pregnant women with particular cruelty. The property of the murdered, their houses and apartments became payment for the perpetrators of the Holocaust. The terrible Nazi genocide almost destroyed the Jewish cultural and ethno-social community of the Zhytomyr region. Only a few managed to escape the Nazi terror.
