Реалізація компетентнісного підходу до мовної підготовки майбутніх педагогів

Abstract

Визнання необхідності модернізації мовної підготовки учнів та студентів викликає потребу осучаснення мовної освіти, з одного боку, та створення додаткових можливостей для іншомовного спілкування з іншого. Саме реалізація компетентнісного підходу до мовної підготовки майбутніх педагогів розглядається науковцями як новий орієнтир модернізації освіти в Україні і передбачає поєднання у навчальному процесі традиційних та інноваційних технологій (з наданням пріоритету проектним, інтерактивним, текстоцентричним та інформативним); теоретичних і практично орієнтованих курсів; загальнодидактичних та специфічних принципів вивчення окремих дисциплін; широке застосування видів та форм самостійної роботи; створення і використання довідниково-енциклопедичних, мультимедійних навчальних комплексів з різнобічними завданнями ситуативного характеру; реалізацію системи методів навчання, спрямованих на поетапне оволодіння мовними знаннями, практичне застосування знань у різноманітних навчальних ситуаціях, у тому числі, застосування рольових та ділових ігор тощо. У статті розкрито, що реалізація компетентнісного підходу до мовної підготовки учнів та студентів передбачає орієнтацію на розвиток ключових компетенцій у мовній сфері: мовної, мовленнєвої, комунікативної та соціокультурної й, як наслідок, формування мовної особистості. У межах компетентнісного підходу викладання іноземних мов у вищих педагогічних навчальних закладах має здійснюватися з опорою на принципи комунікативної (мовленнєвої) спрямованості навчання, ситуативності (або контекстуальної обумовленості матеріалу), діяльнісного характеру навчання та соціокультурного спрямування навчального процесу.

Recognizing the need to modernize the language training of pupils and students calls for the modernization of language education, on the one hand, and the creation of additional opportunities for foreign language communication, on the other. It is the implementation of the competency-based approach to the language training of future teachers that is considered by scientists as a new benchmark for the modernization of education in Ukraine and involves the combination of traditional and innovative technologies in the educational process (with priority given to project-based, interactive, text-centric and in-formative); theoretical and practically oriented courses; general didactic and specific principles of studying individual disciplines; wide application of types and forms of independent work; creation and use of reference-encyclopedic, multimedia educational complexes with versatile tasks of a situational nature; implementation of a system of teaching methods aimed at the gradual acquisition of language knowledge, practical application of knowledge in various educational situations, including the use of role-playing and business games, etc. The article reveals that the implementation of the competence-based approach to the language training of pupils and students involves focusing on the development of key competences in the language sphere: language, speech, communicative and socio-cultural, and, as a result, the formation of a linguistic personality. Within the framework of the competence approach, teaching foreign languages in higher pedagogical educational institutions should be carried out based on the principles of communicative (speech) orientation of education, situationality (or contextual conditionality of the material), activity-based nature of education and socio-cultural orientation of the educational process.
