The issues of the present tourism are studied on the example of the University of Tourism and Ecology in Sucha Beskidzka, Poland, the peculiarities of tourism training in the context of European integration and increasing the competitiveness of the tourism industry. The author forms new modern scientific and practical conclusions that can be used in practical training for the tourism industry.
The relevance, importance and necessity of the study is dictated by modern realities of compliance with the mechanism of formation of the European educational space, mutual exchange of students / teachers as one of the generally accepted criteria for assessing the quality of higher education (academic mobility of students/teachers). experience and its implementation in the training of specialists in economics, tourism, hotel and restaurant business and public administration. Based on the results of the cooperation, a Cooperation Agreement was concluded in three languages between the NATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL DRAGOMANOV UNIVERSITY and the University of Tourism and Ecology (Sukha Beskidska, Poland).
