Світовий досвід корекційної допомоги дорослим особам з інтелектуальними порушеннями в церковному середовищі

Abstract

У статті на основі аналізу теоретичних джерел з філософії, теології, медицини, спеціальної психології та корекційної педагогіки визначено суть, зміст, процес та особливості роботи церкви як інституції допомоги та опіки з метою відновлення та покращення психічного здоров’я тих осіб, які через низку психогенних, соматогенних та травмуючих причин опинились в ситуації втрати життєвих орієнтирів, розгубленості, самотності та потребують інтенсивної психокорекційної допомоги. Виявлено психокорекційні та духовні можливості церковних інституцій, які здійснюють підтримку інтелектуального та душевного стану людини та забезпечують стабілізацію тих людей з особливими потребами, що втратили когнітивні здібності до самоконтролю та саморегуляції над власним життям, зокрема над поведінкою та орієнтацією в житті.

В статье на основе анализа теоретических источников по философии, теологии, медицине, специальной психологии и коррекционной педагогике определены суть, содержание, процесс и особенности работы церкви как института помощи с целью восстановления и улучшения психического здоровья тех лиц, которые в силу ряда психогенных, соматогенных и травмирующих причин оказались на грани отчаяния и потери жизненных ориентиров и требуют интенсивной психокоррекционной помощи. Выявлены коррекционные и духовные возможности церковных институтов, которые осуществляют психотерапевтическое влияние на интеллектуальное и душевное состояние людей и обеспечивают нормализацию тех людей с особыми потребностями, которые потеряли интеллектуальные возможности самоконтроля и саморегуляции над собственной жизнью, в частности над поведением и ориентацией в жизни.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the world experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and correctional care in church institutions established by diocesan, parish, monastic, charitable and volunteer church centers. The author uses the method of theoretical analysis to establish modern world trends in the development of church institutions: permanent homes, rehabilitation institutions, "houses of charity" and other geriatric centers. The activities of the mentioned institutions provide an opportunity to conduct a psychological diagnosis of a person; to establish the etiology and pathogenesis of pathological manifestations; to create an individual psychocorrectional program for overcoming cognitive disorders, which as a result of psychogenic and somatogenous influences lead to loss of self-image, disorientation in life, loss of responsibility, self-control and self-regulation. The Church remains an institution that not only takes care of a person spiritually, creating appropriate conditions for life, treatment, shelter, but also acquires the status of a provider of social and psychological assistance to people who are disoriented in their lives, unable to provide themselves with basic things and develop as individuals. Having considered in the article the data of the above-mentioned process of help in the church environment, the author chooses theoretical and methodological provisions of defectological, special - psychological, correctional - pedagogical, rehabilitation and social aspects for further creation of psychological model of help to people. Presenting the directions and tendencies in different countries, the author of the article reasonably chooses those directions, methods and corrective techniques that optimize the presence of a person with dementia under the care of church centers. Analyzing the theological, philosophical, psychological - pedagogical literature, the essence, content, structure, purpose, tasks and process of assistance to disabled people in different countries of the world are revealed. In particular, it was considered the practice of the United States, Germany (homes for the elderly, permanent centers for adults with intellectual disabilities), Larsh and Faith and Light International Church Communities (social adaptation of people with intellectual disabilities, supported housing). Because of the analysis, historical data on the transformation of church institutions into guardianship and assistance bodies were established. It was detected that in the church environment, there is a relationship between the correction and the effectiveness of the return to a better life of a person which was damaged by various pathologies. It is concluded that the use of psycho-correctional potential of the church allows and requires the creation of a system of correctional work, techniques, forms, types of work to overcome intellectual disabilities. It has been established that an important advantage that allows the use of church institutions as psychocorrectional, are the means of indirect communication in the psychological atmosphere of support for each person.
