Когнітивно-дискурсивна реконструкція комунікативних девіацій в українсько- і німецькомовних відеоінтерв’ю

Abstract

У дисертації розроблено нову теоретико-методологічну концепцію для виконання когнітивно-дискурсивної реконструкції комунікативних девіацій в українсько- і німецькомовних відеоінтерв’ю. Обґрунтовано статус відеоінтерв’ю як інтегрованого мовленнєвого жанру, який включає теле- і спеціальні інтерв’ю, збережені на відеохостингу YouTube в мережі Інтернет. Уточнено визначення поняття “комунікативної девіації” на тлі суміжних термінів як динамічного й складного когнітивно-дискурсивного явища. Реконструйовано причини виникнення комунікативних девіацій і побудовано їхню модель, характерну для українсько- та німецькомовних відеоінтерв’ю. Встановлено типи реконструйованих комунікативних девіацій: за видами відеоінтерв’ю (спортивні, зіркові, політичні), за ґенезою (спричинені інтерв’юером, респондентом, дискурсивним середовищем), за структурою (зовнішні, внутрішні, ситуативні), за способом уникнення (до, під час і після проведення інтерв’ю), за стратегіями та тактиками інтерв’юера і респондента в українській і німецькій лінгвокультурах. Виявлено типи девіацій, зумовлених факторами впливу дискурсивного середовища. Установлено закономірності й відмінності в типах реконструйованих комунікативних девіацій в українсько- і німецькомовних відеоінтерв’ю в кількісно-якісних показниках.

В диссертации разработана новая теоретико-методологическая концепция для выполнения когнитивно-дискурсивной реконструкции коммуникативных девиаций в украинско- и немецкоязычных видеоинтервью. Обоснован статус видеоинтервью как интегрированного речевого жанра, включающего в себя теле- и специальные интервью, сохраненные на видеохостинге YouTube в сети Интернет. Предложено оптимальное определение понятия "коммуникативные девиации" на фоне смежных терминов как динамического и сложного когнитивно-дискурсивного феномена. Реконструированы причины возникновения коммуникативных девиаций и построена их модель, ориентированная на сферу украинско- и немецкоязычных видеоинтервью. Установлены типы реконструированных коммуникативных девиаций: по видам видеоинтервью (спортивные, звездные, политические), с учетом их генезиса (вызванные интервьюером, респондентом, дискурсивной средой), на уровне структуры (внешние, внутренние, ситуативные), по предупреждению девиаций (до, во время и после проведения интервью), по стратегиям интервьюера и респондента (прямые, скрытые и стратегии выхода из проблемных ситуаций) и тактикам в украинской и немецкой лингвокультурах. Установлены типы реконструированных коммуникативных девиаций, обусловленные факторами влияния дискурсивной среды. Определены закономерности и отличия в типах реконструированных коммуникативных девиаций в украинско- и немецкоязычных видеоинтервью в количественных и качественных показателях.

The thesis presents a new theoretical and methodological concept for the performance of a cognitive and discursive reconstruction of communicative deviations in Ukraine and German video interviews from the position of cognitive comparative linguistics and contrastive typological linguistics. The research paper substantiates the status of video interviews as an integrated speech genre, which includes television interviews and special interviews stored on YouTube video hosting on the Internet. The definition of the notion of “communicative deviation” as a dynamic and complex cognitive and discursive phenomenon is clarified against related terms and notions. The paper reconstructs the causes of communicative deviations’ occurrence and presents the models of communicative deviations specific to Ukrainian and German video interviews. The thesis establishes the types of reconstructed communicative deviations by the type of video interview (sports, celebrity, political video interviews), the types of reconstructed communicative deviations by their genesis (caused by the interviewer, the respondent, the discursive environment), by their structural level (external, internal, situational), by the way of preventing deviations (before, during, and after the interview), by the interviewer’s and the respondent’s strategies (direct, hidden and strategies of solving problematic situations) and their tactics. The types of reconstructed communicative deviations caused by the factors of discursive environment (physical noise, physiological noise, noise connected with outsiders) are established as well. The regularities and differences in the types of reconstructed communicative deviations in Ukrainian and German video interviews are identified in the form of quantitative and qualitative indicators. The working term of “communicative deviations” is used in the research in the narrow meaning of divergences, a mismatch in the expectations of the communicators within a video interview; in a broader sense, it presents an umbrella term for speech, linguistic and extralinguistic deviations, a universal and at the same time ethnoculturally marked dynamic complex cognitive and discursive phenomenon, which is uniquely generated in the genres of various formats and types. In view of the criterion of typology of communicative deviations by the type of interview, the paper clarifies the term of “video interview” at the intersection of the Internet and media linguistics as a variety of the genre that includes not only television interviews but also special YouTube interviews. On the basis of the collected corpus, it has been established that communicative deviations are more common in Ukrainian than in German video interviews. They predominate in Ukrainian-language political and German-language sports interviews. The quantitative indicator of communicative deviations in celebrity interviews is at the same level in both linguistic cultures. In terms of the genesis, communicative deviations are more commonly caused by respondents in both linguistic cultures under study. Communicative deviations of both the interviewer and the respondent are present in all types of video interviews at three identified levels: external structural (conditions of the communicative and social environment), internal structural (verbal, non-verbal, and paraverbal means) and situational (formed in the course of interaction). The ways of preventing communicative deviations are universal in video interviews (before, during and after the interview), but they differ in terms of content, emotional and psychological, speech and language, technical aspects depending on the type of interview in both linguistic cultures. The research has established that in both linguistic cultures there are direct strategies of the interviewer (informative and evaluative) and of the respondent (informing and expressing point of view), hidden strategies of the interviewer (provocation, exposing, presenting (un)favourable information, distorting facts) and of the respondent (self- presentation, presenting favourable information, blaming others), as well as their strategies and tactics of solving problematic situations. Communicative noise as a factor in the discursive environment causes communicative deviations in all types of video interviews (more often in Ukrainian- language political and German-language celebrity interviews), which depend on physical noise, physiological noise and the noise connected with outsiders. The combination of various noises is typical for German video interviews. The reconstructed types of communicative deviations are of universal nature in Ukrainian and German linguistic cultures, yet reflect national and cultural peculiarities given the special features of the Ukrainian and German languages and the peculiar properties of each individual lingual culture with its realias, norms, conventions, maxims and rules of interpersonal and group communication.
