Християнство в сучасному політичному дискурсі

Abstract

Визначено актуальність та тенденції вивчення християнства в сучасному політичному дискурсі. З’ясовано, що сьогодні християнська релігія повертається у сферу соціальних відносин і стає важливим чинником світових, регіональних і національних політичних процесів та трансформацій. Доведено, що Християнська Церква, залишаючись сакральним і культовим інститутом, який зорієнтований, переважно, на задоволення релігійних потреб віруючих, може виступати моральним арбітром політичних суспільно значущих рішень. З процесами демократизації, плюралізації та розвитку громадянського суспільства перспективним бачиться перехід влади, громадян і релігійних організацій, в тому числі в українському поліконфесійному середовищі, від монологу до відкритого діалогу. Умотивованими є сучасні вимоги богословів, філософів та релігійних діячів у необхідності переосмислення релігійно-культурної різноманітності світу з метою запобігання ворожнечі й конфліктів й перетворення релігії на чинник суспільної духовної консолідації.

It is determined the relevance and tendencies of the study of Christianity in contemporary political discourse. It is revealed that today the Christian religion is returning to the sphere of social relations and becoming an important factor in world, regional and national political processes and transformations. It has been proved that the Christian Church, while remaining a sacred and cult institution that is predominantly focused on meeting the religious needs of believers, can act as a moral arbiter of politically significant decisions. With the processes of democratization, pluralisation and development of civil society, it is promising the transition of authorities, citizens and religious organizations, including the Ukrainian poly-confessional environment, from a monologue to an open dialogue. The contemporary demands of theologians, philosophers, and religious figures are motivated by the need to rethink the religious and cultural diversity of the world in order to prevent hostility and conflict and transform religion into a factor of social spiritual consolidation.
