Автобіографічний дискурс художньої прози Пантелеймона Куліша

Abstract

У дисертації вперше в українському літературознавстві проаналізовано, систематизовано й узагальнено ключові аспекти автобіографічного дискурсу в прозі П. Куліша – основоположника української саможиттєписної епіки. Простежено ґенологічну парадигму та трансформаційну еволюцію еґолітературних текстів письменника в контексті національної автобіографіки др. пол. ХІХ ст.; з’ясовано ідейно-художні, жанрові, структурні та стильові рівні автобіографічної прози П. Куліша; досліджено наративні моделі самооб’єктивації авторського «Я» в белетристиці письменника; уведено до наукового обігу маловідому автобіографічну епіку письменника: повісті «История Ульяны Терентьевны», «Яков Яковлевич», «Феклуша», «Дедушкин завет», «Омут», роман «Владимирия», роман у віршах «Евгений Онегин нашего времени», «Історичне оповідання», «Около полуста лет назад. Литературные воспоминания» та ін. Дослідження автобіографічного дискурсу художньої прози П. Куліша поглиблює розуміння як історико-культурних умов, які впливали на розвиток письменника як творчої особистості, виокремлює психологічні процеси, які сприяли розкриттю внутрішнього «Я» митця, так і логіки вектору розвитку національного літературного процесу.

In the dissertation, for the first time in Ukrainian literary studies, the key aspects of autobiographical discourse were analyzed, systematized and generalized in the prose by Panteleimon Kulish, the founder of Ukrainian ego-literature; the genological paradigm and the transformational evolution of writer's memoirautobiographical prose traced in the context of national biographical fiction of the second part of the nineteenth century; Determined the ideological and artistic, genre, structural and stylistic levels of P. Kulish`s autobiographical prose; Narrative models of self-objectification of the author's «I» in the writer's fiction have been researched; Little-known memoir-autobiographical works of the writer were introduced to the scientific study: the story «Feklusha», «The History of Ulyana Terentyevna», «Yakov Yakovlevich», «Omut», «Granddad`s Covenant», the novel «Vladimiria», examples of memoir-autobiographical prose «Historical story», «About semi-hundred years ago. Literary Memories», a novel in verse «Eugene Onegin of our age», poems «Kulish in hell», «Adam and Eve» etc. It is determined that the writer turns to autobiographical writing for almost fifty years of creativity, starting with diary entries of 1845–1848 and up to 1897, (after author`s death his autobiographical novel «Omut» and «Vladimiria» will be published). Such specificity of creative comprehension testifies about the goal of the artist - on the basis of understanding his own life story to create a model of national-cultural identity, and at the most critical moment of the threat of the existence of the nation, to present the ideal of its leader and defender P. Kulish`s autobiographical discourse is a specific verbal construct by the author of his identity in the texts in which he represents himself, self-identifies himself through memories, feelings, experiences, emotions, activated by memory about important events and facts of his life. The paradigm of the texts in which the author expresses self-representing himself belongs to the writer's autobiography. This was facilitated by: 1) a comprehensive, systematic study of the origins and evolution of Ukrainian memoir and autobiographical literature during the XII– XIX centuries; 2) study of the main historical-literary and structural-typological varieties of the national autobiography of the Middle Ages, Baroque, Enlightenment and New-time; 3) elucidation of the specifics of autobiographism of the Ukrainian literary tradition of the second half of the nineteenth century. 4) clarification and correlation of the terms «autobiographical discourse», «literature non-fiction», «autobiographism», «autobiography», «artistic autobiography», «autobiographical novel». Important aspects of P. Kulish's autobiographical discourse are analyzed, the dominant features of autobiographicalism of a multi-genre epic are determined. Target goals of Kulish-autobiographer have been found. The poetics of P. Kulish's autobiographical works were systematically analyzed, the basic strategies, methods and means of self-disclosure of the author were determined. The study of P. Kulish's autobiographical discourse deepens the understanding of the historical and cultural conditions that influenced the development of the writer as an individual, emphasizes the psychological processes that contributed to the artist's inner self.

В диссертации впервые в украинском литературоведении проанализированы, систематизированы и обобщены ключевые аспекты автобиографического дискурса в прозе П. Кулиша – основоположника украинской автобиографической эпики. Прослежено генологическую парадигму и трансформационную эволюцию эго-литературных текстов писателя в контексте национальной автобиографистики второй половины XIX в.; выяснено идейно-художественные, жанровые, структурные и стилевые уровни автобиографической прозы П. Кулиша; исследовано нарративные модели самообъективации авторского «Я» в беллетристике писателя; введено в научный оборот малоизвестную автобиографическую эпику писателя: повести «История Ульяны Терентьевны», «Яков Яковлевич», «Феклуша», «Дедушкин завет», «Омут», роман «Владимирия», роман в стихах «Евгений Онегин нашего времени», «Историческое повествование», «Около полуста лет назад. Литературные воспоминания» и др. Исследование автобиографического дискурса П. Кулиша углубляет понимание историко-культурных условий, которые влияли на развитие писателя как личности, акцентирует на психологических процессах, которые способствовали раскрытию внутреннего «Я» художника.
